Will 3M vinyl wrap stick to it? I have the 3M scotchprint gloss black metallic film which is almost a perfect match to CF and the splitter laying around for few months and I don't have the time to paint it CF.. any suggestions?
Worth a shot, I have heard of people using xpel or similar film. The contours of the splitter might be a challenge though? Maybe someone who has worked with it can advise. Seems like it would be great if you could make it work.

[QUOTE=Pisswilly;1590077973]Quite satisfied with the quality and looks. I got the best price from my local dealer. Finished off the install with purchase of scrivets from Amazon instead of rivets.
I know this has already been stated, but again for the choir, why is that called a "poverty splitter"?

Go look at the cost of a carbon fiber splitter and you will know why.
To me the unpainted splitter just isn't "black" enough. I painted mine flat black and if I need to touch it up, flat black is pretty easy. Still waiting for the car that gets built next week.
Just apply a little "back to black" Detailer and it picks
up a little gloss and looks fine. No worries about chipping or paint damage I also used the black pop rivets supplied with the spoiler. Easy to install and can easily be drilled out with the same size bit used to install if you ever wanted to remove or replace it.

Wow that looks great but can you install it without "wrapping" it around the bottom edge? Maybe 1/2" or so from that edge? I scrape mine everyday on my driveway, even going at an angle. So it gets a little smaller over time LOL.
