^^^ Same here, great performance outside the obvious issues. I just checked TSB #16-NA-014 and that's the one pertaining to the SSS and delayed engagement. It also requires some new o-rings and/or check valves to be installed to curtail abnormal drain-back from the TC and apparently isn't related to the shuddering syndrome.
I noticed the delayed engagement sporadically, maybe once every three months but was actually getting better over time, and if it never got any worse I would call it a quirk and never complain. I can tolerate a few quirks in a bleeding-edge sports car, but the V4 shudder is way outside quirk territory.

Like Earnest T said, who can predict? It would seem logical that some will have problems as the months and years progress, especially those with 2016 and subsequent cars, so how would we know ahead of time?
Most cars have problems as they grow older and put on miles.

Not of this nature and within the time frame we are dealing with. If my Z06 had this issue somewhere around 200K, I would accept it. Not in the 10 to 25k range.
Oh God!!!
I'm trading mine in for a better car as soon as they get all future issues figured out and fixed. :will y::wi lly:: *****::***** ::wil ly::w illy: :::wi lly:: *****::***** :*****::will y::wi lly:: *****:
NO poll for 2014 A6'S? They canot all be problem free. 2014 A6 Z51 8600 problem free miles.
Being that you swap out your vette about every 3 years ,and at the rate your putting on the miles, you have the best odds of anyone on this forum of not having a tranny problem if you had an A8.
Transmission on my 2015 was replaced at 1400 miles, symptons started at 600 miles, took GM nearly 8 weeks to finally replace the transmission after trying all the crazy driving senarios that do not work. It would jerk so hard between 1st and 2nd and 3rd it was dangerously close to runniing over traffic in front of you. But the down shifting at random to 4th gear and sticking there at 80 mph would nearly stand it on the nose and I thought the engine would blow. New tranny is good so far at 10,000 miles. Been told by some that failure rate is in excess of 10 percent, I do know that there have been 3 service bulletins put out about the corvette A8 so GM is recognizing that there is a problem.
When the A8 problems first showed up most owners had low mileage
on their cars the dealers did not how or what to fix so most suffered for a long time. My car has 7300 miles its a 2015 purchased in October 2014,
it shifts just like the day i got it.
Many people with no problems will not share their pleasure due to the fact that who wants to hear negative feedback like "hope you have a good one", " lets hear back when you have 15000 miles and out of warranty" etc...
I used to love this forum for its useful information. Why dump on the people that post positive things about their car, thats why this thread is flawed ( im happy that the guy made it) just saying its flawed due to the fact that most people with no problems will not respond to the thread.
My brother owns an 08 Z06 I dont ask him if hes thrown a valve every time I talk to him.
