I don't want to jack someone else's thread, but what is it with chrome wheels?
I mean really, 1960 called and it want's its wheels back. Nothing says geezer owns it, more than having chrome wheels.

Duh, is it possible that people get chrome wheels because they like the way it looks. Should they get something they do not like because it would be more "hip" in other folks eyes?
I sort of got over needing to follow the crowd before graduating high school.
The Chrome wheels are nice I just like the Black wheels better on the C7 because of all the black accents on the car. To each his own whatever anyone likes is fine by me as long as they are FACTORY STOCK OR GM ACCESSORY WHEELS!!!

I will add one more thing to this thread and then I am out! I STRONGLY BELIEVE the Black wheels look best on RED,Yellow and white C7'S. JMHO but you know what they say about opinions!
I tried to order some variation of "Mid Life Crisis" for a license plate in order to proclaim my geezer status but they were all taken
I almost ordered Crisis 7 for my plates but my wife didn't think it was as funny as I. Glad to see a sense of humor in this thread. Some of these Geezers have their Depends in a bunch.
There are sooo many more choices than just black or chrome. Grey, machined, tinted, brushed, etc. IMO the color of the car itself can play factor in what looks best.
Nothing says ricer more than a murdered out black-on-black-on-black-on-black (ad nauseum) car. The best accessory for those things is a fart-can exhaust, plenty of plasti-dip and maybe some under-body neon.
