Didn't do the upgrade, still thinking about it. Some say they require you to leave the car overnight. Did you have to? Do you still like the upgrade?
I was in and out in less than 3 hours. Update, oil change and summer wheels put on. At MacMulkin they said it needed to sit for 8 hours or so but it could be driven during that time it just wouldn't feel much different. It slept in my Garage that night. I feel it was worthwhile as it seems to be smoother without the jaring in sport. Could be my imagination though. My vert is an a 2016 z-51 Stingray so can't speak for others. This was my last free oil change. 0-40 too. EEk I'll have to pay for the next one

I only buy convertibles and always wanted a convertible corvette BUT I didn't want the regular corvette and the Z06 and ZR1 were never available as convertibles . . until recently. I tried to buy a 2015 Z06 convertible but waited too late and they had already started ordering the 2016 so I have a 2016 Z06 convertible and I had the black areas painted white so the car is all white except for the grille. Red interior. A convertible section would be great. I would post pictures but have not had any luck trying to post photos and can't find any information on how to do it.

Currently I have the Z06 convertible and also a 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 but I'm going to sell off both of them to help me pay for a ZR1 convertible.

I have the GM deflector but it came on the car so I can't say that it makes any difference. I know it did on my M3 and does on my wife's Mini Convertible.

Vs the GM version, the Windrestrictor costs hundreds less, does not require permanent drilled holes, and looks sleeker IMO. My wife and I have driven C7 Verts with and without it. The Windrestrictor definitely reduces the blowing of her long hair with the windows up or down vs not having it. Not sure, however, if it reduces cabin noise due to the wind when the top is down.

Finally stopped raining here in NC, so I took advantage and gave her a good bath. So for about 11 minutes, (It's now pollen-season) she was clean!

That is a very nice looking product. Will have to remember it for the next car.

You can still add it to your current car if you want and like it.

Thanks. That looks good and I like that there is no drilling. I may spring for that

Default Umbrella Cubbies

OK, so this tidbit may already be known...
Of course my gigantic golf umbrella isn’t a good fit for our new Vert so we purchased two small (43” diameter) umbrellas from Wally World and are storing them in the cubby spaces behind the seats. Just thought I’d share for other Vert newbies like us.

LOL! Here in Nashville, TN, we’re all wondering when it will finally STOP raining. My wife and I purchased this car in anticipation of 12-15K smiles of driving per year so I’m sure that we’ll see a rain drop or two.

If you keep the speed up, you can drive though a gully-washer.

Just, DON'T slow down!!!!!!
