We just purchased our 4th Corvette on October 2nd. A 2019, Ceramic Matrix Grey Metallic, Grand Sport, 2LT, Heritage Package, A8. Not a black wheels fan so they are being replaced with Machine Faced Grand Sport wheels this week. Our previous Vettes have all been roadsters/convertibles. A 1969 L46, 4 speed, a 1999 Triple Black, 3LT, M6 and a 2013 3LT, Torch Red, Grand Sport, M6.
my top finally died. it will not come down. The first time was the second day I owned it. it has failed many times, but i've always been able to adj a window, open/close trunk...everything you can imagine! now for 2 days it won't budge. I made the service dept verify that it was not working, and I have an apt for Thurs. I hope it is just the switch.

I often listen to my top cycling and wonder when it’s going to go out… Seems there’s always a different click or sound while it’s going through the motions. Good luck on your repair, let everyone know what the problem is. The car looks great though…
Just one of the reasons I would never own a car without a warranty. I still have 11 months on my late delivery 16 and will either sell the car next spring or get an extended warranty. Too many things that click and whirr in these new cars. In the old days you simply reached back and lifted the top into place and clicked a couple of devices on the windscreen to lock it in place.

No offense implied here, but do your windows index correctly? If not, that could be the problem. Just a thought.
I had the same problem in my C6 Vette a few years ago. It was the switch in the trunk behind the drop down cover occasionally not being fully engaged. It was a simple fix. The snap may not be fully engaged or the switch may be loose and moving backward.
