I'm very pleased to find this thread. Out of 4 that I've owned, three were convertibles. I simply prefer them and really like the C7 system of lowering the top. No latches, the car can be moving slowly to activate the mechanism. It's handy when heading into the driveway and garage after a cruise.
I also enjoy visuals of the various color combinations that people own.

Super Convenient Yes.But a common sense spin here:
I know the top is Designed to close up to 35 mphr.Crazy,Huh..With the perfect road conditions. That thing would never close right in my local roads. It would be Racked Bad.
Well,I believe why add a chance of a issue.
That top will stay tighter, close better and less of any issues if vehicle stays still. To me it's worth the pull over and Stop or not move when operating the top.
Their is also hydraulic lines in the assembly. Not worth the misery with a problem down the Road.

Agreed. It is cool that is can be operated while moving, which may be useful in a pinch if it started to suddenly rain on you but otherwise I would keep it still to help prevent any damage.

Or you can operate it up to 30 mph because that's how it's designed.
It does not open or close in the same manner as the C6 top, so most of the same considerations aren't even a concern.
