[QUOTE=C7 Vert;1598675867]I have always had T-tops, coupes, hardtops, but this is my first convertible! Love it as much as when I was riding my motorcycles, just the air and freedom .

I have a 2016 ragtop , bought new. I have never used any sort of sealant or waterproofing and it has yet to leak or seep water in rain or under the high pressure washer. This is my first and only rag top so does it need to be waterproofed?

If I was going to keep the car over 7 year yes I would. Robert
I have a 2016. I did it to mine although it didnt look like it needed it. We plan on doing some trips so i just wanted to be sure it was protected. Took afternoon to do it.

I had mine "scotchguarded" when I had the ceramic coating applied to the rest of the car.
I picked up this NEW 2017 Collector Edition GS earlier this month. It has just about everything you could possibly get with it. M7, Z07, PDR, Competition seats, exposed CF, etc. I got an amazing deal on it - too good to pass up!
Chief, you're going to love your car. Congrats on being retired from the fire service. I retired in '11 as a deputy fire marshal, now everyday is Saturday. Be sure to post some pics when you get your ride.
