I also have a wind deflector and it uses 3m 2 sided tape to secure it.. Should be no marring or anything to paint if you were to take it off.. Mine has been on 15 months and I have no reason to take it off... Does not block all the wind but makes a major reduction in wind...
With only 4K miles on the odo of our '19 we had a road trip planned to Arizona from North Carolina next month, But bam, the Chinese virus shut that down. So, we now have an abbreviated trip to Ohio, then back around for another visit to the Museum. We really wanted to get some miles under the old girls belt, because I surely don't want to save this car for the 2nd owner. Hopefully if all goes well we can get to AZ next year.

A yr ago I traded my TR red C5 with 107 k miles. I looked and looked for a 2014 TR vert. I would have had to travel to Orlando to get one which I don't care to go to. A TR coupe showed up at local dealer. We went to see it as we hadn't looked at a c7 in person. When we drove into the dealer and staring right at it was this coupe and wife went ballistic and said it was so sharp. I was lucky and got a great salesman and used car mgr ( I used to manage dealerships so I know a thing or two). Driving the car was great and I made a deal and traded but I don't regret not getting a vert except I'm back in the market for one. There are 2019 3lt available with mileage in the low 20k. They were rentals but that doesn't bother me as they only want $45900. I am holding out for a torch red.

When I was getting ready to order, I was going for the Silver, with the Adrenaline interior, and black stripes. My wife insisted on the TR. She was right, the Silver is beautiful, but the red is the total essence of a Corvette convertible. So happy I listened to her.
