If it's a '17, doesn't the employee pricing go out the window ? One reaches a point of diminishing returns. Will GM come up with a better deal to help move '17 MY cars ? How good is your magic 8 ball ?
Completely forgot that the employee pricing ends...Jan 2? Maybe I shouldnt get too greedy.

I am not sure what the military pricing is, but believe it is/was the same as employee pricing and I was able to do way better than the price the GM site gave me.

Yes, a deal breaker. In fact, I can’t comprehend how some people although very few in numbers say they prefer a quiet exhaust. Really, a quiet sports car
The stock exhaust isn't exactly super quiet though. Now that I've had the chance to drive my 2018 quite a bit (put almost 200 miles on it this weekend!) I must say that I think the base exhaust sounds just right to me. It's still got a nice growl to it when you first fire it up and when you get on the throttle you can definitely hear it. No regrets here, if I were to reorder my car all over again I still wouldn't spend the extra $$$ on NPP.

For $1200 or whatever it costs, I just didn't think the five extra horsepower were worth it, and indeed, the standard exhaust sounds fine. If I had worried about resale I might have sprung for NPP given its huge popularity.
Alot of us C7 drivers pull the fuse control for valves anyway to have most noise at all times. There are some Bad-*** exhaust systems out there if you think (some of us) the noise is intoxicating!!
Exactly my line of thinking. Fuse has been out and I have to agree that the factory exhaust with fuse out makes a racket. Just remember to dust out the innner exhaust tipes when you clean the balck off the outside.
