This is my 1st vette & feeling underwhelmed with it(To plain & under powered),could have gotten a much nicer car for the $(zl1),but I guess it is what it is.

If I were you I’d sell your plain under powered piece of crap and take a little of bit of all that money you have and go buy yourself a real nice car so we don’t have to listen to you whine about it.

Love my 2lt but I'm sure I would have been happy with a 1lt. Planning to add Z51 sway bar package very soon

Joined this forum just to add to this discussion about the "Plain Jane" C7. Coming from Mustangs as my 5 previous daily drivers, my 2019 1LT, w/A8 as the only "option", I can agree with the C&D's writers assertion. Big thanks to Kirbeck, the price to hard to pass up. Soon as I sat in the C7, two words came to mind "modern" and "refined". It made my '15 Roush feel old and heavy. With Mustangs modding is a disease and you're always compensating for some shortcoming, with this C7 Corvette I feel like I'm going to F' it up. Over the years I did my share of GM hatin' but the Corvette was always impressive and easy to relegate to, I'll never have one. While I can afford the 2nd cheapest Vette on Kirbecks lot, it's so much more than anything I've driven or owned that I'll never go with anything less again. Top is off every day (I live in FL) and with that aspect alone I'm hooked. Haven't had this much fun in car since my '90 Foxbody with a sunroof.

Just bought it a month ago & it is a 1lt stingray,so yes it absolutely was plain & underpowered when I 1st got it,sorry if the truth hurt your feelings maybe I can find you a safe space 😂🤣
However I have been modding it since I got it & it nolonger looks plain @ all on the outside,it actually looks better than my rs3 did.
I do happen to like the dash cluster layout more as well & although my roush had coilovers & other suspension bits the c7 handles better(I will absolutely take it to a whole new level though),but it is still WAY underpowered & yes I am working on that.I hope to eventually make it as good or better than the rs3 as well, have a great day sir.

I'm with Freelance here. The base C7 (1LT-->3LT) is more than most owners have driven. IMO, this thing was made for competition from the point the pencil lead hit the paper. It doesn't hurt that the darned thing looks so sexeh. ...then Corvette amp'd it up with the Z06 and the ZR1. Wow. Just wow.

If the base 1LT Stingray is "plain Jane", my 2LT Stingray must at least warrant an upgrade to "Attractive Annie"

Only thing I would’ve changed on my last 1LT was heated/cooled seats. Otherwise, they have EVERYTHING you need

Those rims & tires look much better on the car over the stockers.

Regarding 'heated/cooled seats' heated seats were frequently listed in the recent "What are two options you could do without on your Vette.." thread and as far as 'cooled' goes they aren't cooled, just ventilated by a fan under the seat.
