Psst...THIS is how you win an argument...
Oh brother, just give up already. Why are you even here anyhow? Didn't you sell your C7? (I'm still waiting for the answer to that question I asked long ago!!!) So now you're just here to stir up trouble?

Hard to believe when you say a moronic statement such as this...especially since my C7 was a 3LT (not a 2LT)... Yeah - sounds like you know "more"

Sooo...you didn't call your dealership and ask that question...right? Yeah I didn't think so...

Yes I sold my C7 - what does that matter? I didn't realize ownership was a prerequisite to be part of the forums... Pat - why aren't you posting on all the "Im looking for a C7" posts that they shouldn't be here...cause they dont own a C7...?

Owning a C7 isn't required to be a member of these forums. Of course, as far as credibility goes there isn't much if you don't own one.

If you no longer own a Corvette why would you post here? I could understand if you want to keep up on what’s going on but why would you post and argue with guys who still own and enjoy their cars?

oh and I talked to my salesman about what is the better car when it comes to Corvettes. He told me the base 1 lt Stingray is by far the best to own and the resale is also much better than the higher trim cars. He said he could sell used 1 lt Stingrays all day long because there are way more buyers for that car than the 2 and 3 lt cars.

I will disagree. I actually don’t think the value is there if one goes with black interior. Due to wanting black interior I just added the Nav and PDR to the 2lz. Now if choosing another color I think the added leather adds a nice contrast making it look better. Also the NAPA GM uses isn’t high enough quality to pay for black either.

The Vette that you used to own was a 3LT.

The 1LT Grand Sport in my garage is better than the 3LT that used to be in your garage.

His feeble arguments got destroyed, so his feeling got hurt, so he came back here to embarrass himself some more... lol.

Now if you're going to say that doesn't make any sense, well, yeah, but neither do his arguments so...

Ask them what's better? I doubt they could even tell me the difference between the three.
When I was looking for my GS, I was amazed how unfamiliar some dealer salespeople were with the C7.

It has always perplexed me why so many salesmen of cars have so little product knowledge. You would think they would learn the ins, outs, details of all cars they have in inventory to sell. How are they going to be able to explain the benefits of all the technology to a perspective customer? Just blows me away.

Don't you mean the mediocracy in your garage? Cause that's all a 1LT is...cheap and mediocre.

What feeble argument? I still havent been proven wrong by any of you... Not one of you bozos have called your dealerships...cause you know exactly what they would say... Even Kenny admits they would say a 3LT is better...because they are. Keep defending your purchases...maybe someday, someone will believe you...maybe if even yourselves...

The only thing that is "feeble" around here, are your purchase decisions to get a 1LT...

No, I didn't call my dealership and ask them that question, simply because I DON'T GIVE A ****! I don't know why you're so obsessed over it. You need help.

And owning a C7 is definitely not a prerequisite for being here, but if all you are going to do is troll the forum, then that's pretty sad. You need to get a life. Seriously.

At the years I was looking at when looking to buy (2015-2016), there were several 3LT cars which were similar in price to 1LT or 2LT cars. Can't speak for the market everywhere, but here in Florida, there's not much price disparity. When I see a 1LT car, I just assume they wanted the 1LT for whatever their personal, entirely relevant reasons were. That's just me. Can't judge anyone for that. Hell, I bought a Black/Jet Black, so my 3LT interior isn't immediately noticeable to anyone but me. I'm 100% happy, I wanted subtle quality, and I got it.

Edited to add: I forgot to add, completely arbitrary observation here, but on my local Central Florida market, I was seeing 1LT cars I'd had saved getting snapped up, while the three or four "strong contender" 3LT cars which were about two to three grand more just sitting. And I know dealers were ready to deal on those 3LT cars, as mine certainly was, so that two-to-three grand could most likely have been haggled away entirely.
You are going to be banned for espousing rationally. You must fight for the 3LT camp to the death without question.

This place is starting to remind me of the 5th Gen camaro board I frequented when I had my SS. Constant threads about which is better a 1SS or a 2SS.

He once made a stupid comment that I bought a 1lt Stingray because it’s all I could afford. What does he know of my financial situation? If I really wanted a ZR1 I would own one in a heartbeat.

I agree, your bizarre obsession and tendency to get so upset over other's choice of trim packages and purchase of new C7s over buying used is obviously an indicator of underlying problems. Do yourself a favor and get help and avoid this forum.

And if his 3LT was SO SUPERIOR, why did he sell it? I guess it wasn't all that great after all. And now he has a 0LT! Mayor, can you at least admit that a 1LT is better than a 0LT??

I'm all about debate but the hostility in here over trim levels makes me glad I've never joined a corvette club.
