No I did not, I know it was 83* outside and my peak IAT(pre-meth) was 157
The A8 is a Bad *** trans for sure. I would be hard pressed to stay M on my next stingray with that available.. its ET in the bank.
The DA was 988' when you ran, that's pretty decent air for July lol. I ran my best time ever at Richmond, if Rockingham doesn't work out this fall I will go back there to try for a personal best.
for sure great for july but that november air at MIR is worth another few .1's yet
Good point! If I was able to go 127.6 with 100 shot and nothing else at Fayetteville I think headers intake 150 shot at Richmond or MIR in the fall will be interesting
After 12 years, I finally got another Corvette. I owned the inaugural 2001 C5 Z06 in 2001, and got rid of it in 2003 when my second kid was born. A few weeks ago I found the Vette I was looking for and traded my 2013 Charger SRT8 Super Bee for it. I must say I have been thoroughly impressed thus far. I went to the local drag strip last night the air wasn't good at all so I hoped for the best and the car did not disappoint me. Car is in Showroom stock form/ Bone Stock.
I was in Bowling Green Saturday For the Museum Annv. event. Since Beech Bend is just down the street and starting their Sat. night test & tune racing, I thought I would get in a few more runs on my 2015 A8 ZF1 car. The temps were in the low 90's and the DA was in the 2800-2900 range. I was pretty sure I wouldn't improve on my best times. But I did figure out how to launch the car better.. I ran 4 passes 12.00- 12.01 - 12.01 & 12.00. Super consistent.. I did however improve my 60ft times buy quite a bit. Best of 1.79 the other runs were 1.81-1.82. A full .13 over my older times... Cant wait for some much better weather... Would love to see a 11.60....

Very nice with such minor bolt ons. You should see 10.40s soon. You made easy with the 1.8 60ft......awesome 👍

Thanks, the track wasn't prepped too well, I could not go full throttle out the gate, if I had been able to launch more aggressive I think I would have hit 11.40s easy. Anyhow my next time out the cooler Fall air and -DA should help me set a record for Stock motor bolt on C7.

Man that car is moving, did you do any runs without nitrous?
Yeah it went 11.55 @ 120 but it won't go any faster on motor because it doesn't have a tune. DA was over 2000 and under 500 and it still goes 11.5. I don't think it will pick up from good air until I put fuel to it.

A couple of 11.40 passes the car went 97mph in the 1/8th. I finally figured out how to launch the car, power brake it up on the stall 2000-2100 RPM in Track Mode, with Traction Off. I'm car#1932 on the tickets below.

The weather seemed good so I went to the track last night. Went to VA Motorsports Park since Richmond Dragway still isn't finished with resurfacing. Place was packed. Lots of break downs and track clean-up. Only got 2 runs. Both were new best times for me though!
2015 Z06 A8. Still all stock on drag tires. DA was around -500
