Had some decent passes on this date, but struggling with IAT heatsoak. Going to make some mods to remedy that. Insulating the box and air intake piping and I may try the z06 front grill airway mod. Also going to change out the valve springs to the conical springs as it's been unstable at high rpm. My goal is 10.3 before swapping the cam to something else that may RPM better.

Car went into Power Reduction Mode around 1000' and threw a P0106 code. Only made one pass. This was the first pass I made with the car so I was happy. Getting the upgrade tune from GM this week and will try again!
Really enjoying this thread. At the point I'd like to add a bit more to my stock Z51 M7. I've bought into headers and an X pipe, plus E85. I can do the mechanics myself. Going to talk to a guy tomorrow about doing the E85 tune/set up.
Has anyone went from Edgy Corvettes $300 intake to the MSD $1,300 intake. Who has just ported their stock intake instead?

Best pass was first pass, second pass I tried the launch control but evidently dorked it up as it pushed through the beams and I red lit. 2.0 60ft, 119.27 MPH but only 11.98.
It's rough when a thread dies with the original poster. (metaphorically)
I see many posts past 2016. But no one to update the OP's list. Brings a tear to my eye.
Thanks. Yes, it's a manual tranny. Really hard to get a decent 60ft on street tires...
My 2014 C7 Z51 M7 has the following mods , 2 in. lt headers , high flow cats , BB exhaust , A and A V3 SI supercharger with standard options/ intercooler kit and A professional dynotune. WHP is 593 , which I am happy with. I'm running stock size Goodyear f1 supercars on the rear and they're much stickier than stock. I want a little more hp before I track it. I'm looking for opinions on the next step to get another 30-40 hp.
I would combine E85 with larger Crank Pulley to start. Seems most cost effective and safe.
you may not even need the larger pulley. E85 may give you all the horsepower gain you are looking for. (Flex fuel sensor with tune)
Other options include Meth injection. (not as smooth and integrated as an E85 tune but E85 may cause fueling challenges at a higher power level)
Different Cam.
Feb 17, 2025 Frank's C7 Z06 we built for him has just taken the C7 1/4 mile record as of Jan 2025.
In this pass it went 7.32 @ 195 here at Firebird raceway in Phx.
Combination consist of the following for major items.
-LME built longblock
-RPM transmission glide/9'' irs combo (trans is still in the back)
-In house built top mount turbo kit using precision mirror image 76/75 turbo's
-Motec M182 full replacement
-Full street car, radiator, charging system, etc. Car can do any drag and drive event and is 100% full interior minus race seats.
-Build was all done under our roof and tuned by us as well.
Note: I am not familiar with the setup of this car. I am just posting this from YouTube.
I'm looking at this list, and those of you M7 guys cutting 1.9's on stock tires is pretty impressive... I went to Gainesville this past friday, struggle bussed and best 60' was 2.1.. Historically, on any car I've run on street tires, I've never really done a full blown burn out..I typically drive around the water and do a quick spin just to clean the tires off... Watching a few of the video's here, it seems the key is to get them a bit hot. noted...
Doesn't matter.. Next time out with the car, it will be on some drag radials. Racing at the strip on run flats/street tires is like going to your favorite bar and drinking only water.
