Not real happy but given my tire situation and the DA’s at 3.4k+ I think this is as good as it gets for now.
Launch control slowed me down. Launching off idle and punching it was best for me. Still got spin but not a lot if track prep was even mediocre.

The right slip is from an 1/8th mile track the day before at 3800 DA. Track had much better prep though than Texas Motorplex.

Did the GM Air Box improve your performance or ET?
Yes it did ,a decent gain despite what the naysayers rant on about. GM does not publish any gains below 10 hp and their testing methods are ultra conservative compared to the aftermarket. A 30% reduction in restriction is a decent number and certainly noteworthy and you have no warranty or tune issues! GM published 17hp when used on the ZR1 engine but a tester on these forums gained approx. 3 mph on a 9 second car. The math shows about a 50hp gain so some indication of how conservative GM test methods are and it does a great filtering job as well.A GM engineer gave me the 10hp number at the 2018 PRI show as that is company policy and if you notice the new airbox for the Silverado has no published gains but it is a HP improvement although less than the Corvette box.

Just went 11.18@124 w/1.63 60ft. E85, Speed Engineering Long Tubes and X Pipe, Nitto 555R2s Drag Radials. Blue Attack Air filter/stock air box. No other mods. I'll get my time slip posted as soon as I load it Gateway Motorsports Park 9/19/2020
