KDI is big in the CTS-V community. My experience with them when I had my V was terrible and I wouldn't deal with them again as they sold me some parts and then were nowhere to be found when I had questions/ needed support...
One thing I wonder though, would it be wise to put a little Loctite on the two plate screws? I have heard of guys with modified/ported OEM throttle bodies sucking in screws that vibrated loose over the years.
Ben, I have the HallTech hybrid CAI installed...should I expect the same as your Dyno numbers?
Also, my car is a z51 a6... Do you recommend the diablo tune as well? The way I read it...it really had no real HP gain? Am I missing something? How do I order? Can I purchase without the core exchange ?
Thanks

Although I haven't tried the hybrid yet, I'm sure it would be similar. My CKN Halltech intake has a larger tube than the Hybrid, but I know Jim likes the Hybrids air flow. I offer a money back guarantee if you're not happy with the product as well. Yes, we can easily do an outright charge without core return too.
As far as the Diablo, they have my buddy Andy's car down there and were working on a CAI tune which I'm guessing the Halltech would work very well with. I know they tweak the torque and trans shift settings too. Give me a call tomorrow to chat if you'd like.
