I LOL reading all those arguing for and against contrary opinions. It’s been that way at least as long as I’ve been on CF. Through the lead up to the C6, C7, and now the C8. Most by those only having seen pictures. It has always tailed off as more people see them in person. As an early purchaser of both the C6 and C7 i’ve had 100’s of car enthusiasts give design praise seeing each one of mine. I’ve never had one negative comment. I expect no different when I receive my early build C8.

Yep, it's not new at all. Some folks handle cognitive dissonance better than others.

Moreover, critics don't often share their views with the owners of something they dislike. My C7 draws far more no comments than compliments.

Fixed it for you.

There's no such thing as a wrong opinion - That's why it's called an opinion.

Default Lines, creases, and angles, mouth and rear are not opinion

No. My opinion is that it's "a mess."

However, it's a FACT that the C8 is festooned with all manner of lines, angles, forms, etc. It has a huge mouth and a huge rear. It is, in fact, a VERY busy design compared to its peers.

Those claims are observable and countable. They are true; not opinion.

You can't accept that he ordered one because he liked it, rather than he likes it because he ordered one? That's a pretty bold statement about someone you don't really know at all, isn't it?

I definitely think the move to ME was necessary for performance reasons, but the Ferrari 458/488 just hits the performance out of the park and looks much better doing it. C8 won't be my next car.
It would also have been impractical. If you look at the internals of the C8, there's no room to lower the fenders and grill without making it longer. The headlights barely clear the wheel wells now. And making the radiators smaller would possibly lead to cooling issues.

I love Photoshop engineers, who never actually have to build a car that runs, works, or can actually be built.

The guy who did this is incredibly talented. You can check out his automotive designs (pretty stunning, btw!!!) on Facebook @ Rain Prisk Design then go to Photos.
Would look way better if the front end was longer.

Yes. While this render helps greatly (it is SO much better!), it would look better with nose even a bit longer.

Go buy a C7 or a Viper. The whole point of a ME is the revised proportions. There are no “long- nose” ME cars. That would be retarded.

I said make it a bit longer.

And BTW, there are no ME cars that look like the entire front end was hacked off by a guillotine either. Well, except for one.

Really now. Someone knocks the look of the car and just because you are buying it you crack a tantrum. Over sensitive new C8 owner here in this thread.

I guess the Laferrari and Ford GT do not exist for example.

How does that compare to the front end of the C8? Same length if so one if us has a problem.

Both of those cars have shorter noses and longer tails.

So the yellow render has a longer nose than the laferrari I posted.

No worries no point going any further with this if this is how you see it.

The C8 corvette has a longer front end than the Laferrari. You heard it here first.
