...the 3LT dashes still have reports of adhesive failure.
Guy at my gym works the tri-county area doing upholstery and dash repair for dealerships. A few weeks ago he mentioned he's been seeing a lot of bubbling of dashes over the last year, wonder if there's a major adhesive supplier that changed formulas.
He shared a story about being at a Rolls Royce dealer fixing a bubble that was right against the windshield, requiring it to be removed. The tech cracked the window when replacing it; I think he said it was a four thousand dollar part!
The dash has been bubbling since the car came out. 5 yrs, just another thing GM will not fix. Alot of people had it fail outside the warranty. Here is a SB published 2 years before mine was built and delivered with the same flaw. 3 days in the shop and pull/paint the front clip. People keep buying them?

Reason: add
Absolutely. I’m on my 5th Corvette with only minor issues with my C4 and C7. My C6 was junk but happy owners outnumber me by far. My C8 has been great.
If you read the SB its about proper headlight alignment. .05mm I took delivery at the factory and could have checked and had it fixed if I was aware. How long for GM to check/fix
on the line? No, they just keep rolling them out. I traded a 2021 Mach 1 because of QC and ongoing mechanical issues. With 7000 miles this 2024 C8 might be heading the same way. What next??? No oil in this AC compressor. 5000 miles blew.
Add another car with transmission issue. Wife's '22 Z51 picked up in October of '21. Have ~7700 miles on it when driving on the highway, went to accelerate and there was a strange shift. Engine Light comes on. I scanned the code when I got home and it was p2856 - Clutch "B" Pressure Charge Performance. This was less than a month after having the 7,500 mile transmission service. Took it to the dealer on Monday, finally got a call on Friday. Needs a new Control Valve Body. Fortunately they had one in stock and was able to get it done on Friday. ON interesting item is that the gear number on the dash nest to the D; the lower right part of the number was flickering. So an 8 or a 6 would flicker on the bottom right half. This went away after the service. Notes from the ticket:
7777 code p2856 ran transmission Service Diagnostic Test failed 3 times. si doc 5501044 need main valve body replacement. Main valve body replace both main filter and canister filter per doc id 5454785. Performed Hydraulic System Flush Procedure and Transmission Service. Fast Learn road test, no light, shift normal, no codes.
Looks like I need to buy the GM extended warranty since warrant expires in 6 months.
Sorry only just seen this. For info these spoilers are a last minute fix to meet safety regulations. The vent openings are too large without. To do with head size when hitting pedestrians!! I know, don't hit pedestrians then.
Hi All- Just got my 2025 corvette in January with the ZO6 as well with the ZO7 performance package. At 606 miles the engine had a catastrophic failure, GM took care of everything but I really would like to know what happened. I have been able to get any information on it. Doe’s anyone have any idea how I could find out about it. Chevrolet told the dealer to not even crack it open, they definitely wanted it back to tear it down. Just thought I would pass it along…..
Yup, my 2023 had exactly the same problem, two tiny bubble cracks by the rear pointy bit of the headlamp where the panel join is. Just had it fixed under warranty at a Mercedes approved body shop, the only place I trust to do a decent job. They strip the whole front off to repaint it properly. Dealer wanted to pay $600!!! GM then approved the $3500 it actually cost. The front lift problem has returned. Same crappy dealer had the car for over three weeks at 1000 klm to fix Convertible top not working and the front lift only working once every trip. Did the roof but said they thought the lift was a bad connection! Never actually found or fixed the problem. Completely hopeless. I will have to find a better dealer willing to do the warranty work (Australia not US). Anyone know what this issue could be? Use it once then it says it needs servicing and doesn't work until you switch off and drive it the next time.

Is this paint flaw a warranty item? I have less than 5500 miles on my 24 2LT and it has shown up.
I had it repaired under warranty. 2023 car with 4,000klm. Tried to stiff me with a cheap touch up job. Held out for a full blown strip and repaint from a superb repair shop.
total cost $3500 au. Do not settle for anything less.
I had a few spots of transmission oil under my "23" Z06. Looked and felt like trans oil?
Had GM service check it out, it was determined " Coolant level overfill", they handled it, no leaks now.
I just bought a new 2025 SR from MacMulkin and I noticed yesterday that my drivers side window will not go all the way down into the door. About 1/4" off window glass is exposed. Anyone else had this issue? iI know I have full warranty but I hate to have them take my door apart so early into my ownership. A little worried about post repair rattles.

My window has never gone down all of the way. I thought this was by design. It keeps me from resting my arm in the window when it is down.
