Had my first issue yesterday. The frunk would not unlatch. Whenever I pushed the button the lights would flash like they are supposed to but it would actually unlatch.
Finally after pushing down the lid a few times it worked.
Also, quick GM roadside question... do they let you pick which dealer they tow it to, or is it just the closest one? The nearest one sucks, so I’d rather pay extra if I can choose.
It's likely that they'll take the car to the nearest dealer.
My son's Hyundai died in the middle of nowhere with a battery problem, 190 mile tow to his dealer and AAA only covers the first 100 miles. The dealer told him how he could have gotten the whole tow for free.
Have AAA tow you to a point that's closer to your preferred dealer than any other. From that location, call the manufacturer roadside assistance.
Main problem is the software coordinating all the convenience features. Seat and mirror USUALLY goes to the preset position, but not always. Windows USUALLY go up all the way when I'm exiting, but sometimes thinks someone is trapped in the car and lowers itself by an inch. Car USUALLY locks but sometimes thinks someone is in the car as accessories are on.
Not just a Chevy thing, I've noticed Mazda also half-asses it with these features as well.

I had a 2014 Mazda 3S GT for 9 years and never had any issues other than the time I forgot to put up the windshield screen on a hot Summer day. The screen was blank when I started the car, but a restart cured it. That was during year 1. I never had that or any other issue again.
My 24 HTC, Z51 w/Mag has been in the shop for 11 days, so far. The AC compressor failed then the dealer had to order a new coil as well. This car was a lemon law replacement (Georgia) of my 2023 C8 HTC Z51w/Mag which spent 72 days in the shop for AC Compressor issues, three replacements in the first 9 months of ownership!!!

Am I unlucky or has anyone else had these issues.
You are very unlucky. So sorry to hear this. Hope you get it sorted.

I'm the original owner of a 2020 Z51 C8 and I've had NOT ONE problem with the car since new, 5 years ago. The only times it's been to the dealership is for routine maintenance.
I have this serious issue of grabbing the attention of every other car on the road. Copious amounts of thumbs up, smiles, race attempts, and the occasional flash

Sony know where you live but the C8 is very common here. Very rare occurrence to get a thumbs up. Sam

They're definitely becoming more common now. When I got my '20, it'd draw some attention but now there are four other C8's within a three block radius of my house. And I'm the only one that parks mine in the garage! All the others park in the street or driveways.
Joining the ever growing DCT issues club...24 2LT Z51 Coupe with 3500 miles with check engine light on and pulling codes PO700 and U1608. Car goes in next week to be looked at. Had her out 4 days in a row running just beautiful...then on day 5 backed her out of the garage and noticed the dreaded check engine light on...big time bummer! I trickle charged all night hoping for a low battery issue but light stayed on in the morning when restarting. Hopefully, it's a programming issue or something else minor the dealer can fix timely. Fingers crossed!
Update: Car sat for 5 days on charger waiting for appointment and upon restart the check engine light was gone. I still took it in to the dealer, and they did two software updates. One related to the front camera and the other was for a recall related to the ECM. The service tech said code P0700 is a generic code that trips and should always have an associated 2nd fault code with it. Mine had the U1608 code and this was addressed with the software upgrade to the front camera. Just got home after driving 90 miles and everything is running fine and no check engine light! Hopefully, I'm good to go!
Update - Picked up from the dealer after 21 days, AC working now. The dealer (different than current) that fixed the 2023 CB did not replace the condensers (2) during any of three repairs as was done on this repair of the 2024. Probably the reason for the last two of the failures!
Well, I took my car in for a slow leak on a tire. It had a nail in it and it will need replaced. They did not have one in stock and the temporary patch wouldn't work. I had to leave the car there until the tire comes in. This is the second tire that had to be replaced. The first tire picked up a ratchet extension and left a good size hole in the tire. The car has just a little over 2000 miles on it. I never had this many tire problems in such a short time.
At least they gave me a ride home. I live about 20 miles from the dealer..,

A lot of Chevy/GM dealers are requiring a tire replacement with ANY damage to the tire. Not sure if your dealer falls into that category? Michelin DOES NOT require or recommend replacement unless the damage is close to the sidewall (+/- 1"). As mentioned here many times before, Discount Tire does free quality tire repairs in accordance with Michelin's guidance and recommendations. They've repaired my tires a couple times on my C8 for free, with top-notch service and customer care.
22 HTC with 15.300 miles DCT CE light appeared. Car seemed normal. Visited dealer who pulled the codes (below), after which we set a date next week for me to drop it off rather than having it sit unattended waiting for service.
On the way home, the light went out/ disappeared. Was only present for 5-6 starts and less than 20 miles. Guessing some debris was detected and simply passed through. Awaiting word from dealer as to what if anything is now recommended…
Covered by powertrain warranty if need be for now, but it certainly reinforces why I purchased the Platinum Plan…
