Karl Chevrolet informed me today the status of my 2022 Torch Red HTC is 3400 and the target production week was 12/20.
when did the tornado hit??
OK with a 3400 you should have a VIN. The last 5 digits is the build sequence number. 11023 was the last car completed yesterday. I'm 11309, so I'm looking at Monday If they built to target (185) today.
Yes, pretty crazy wait time, but as most are saying , we’ll worth the wait.
I ordered museum delivery as one of my options , so I talked to them today , and went over
the event delivery procedures ,and was told they get museum delivery cars
2 days after they are built. So anyone doing that should consider that option rather than waiting for
your car to be shipped. May not be the most feasible option for everyone , but
im Glad I went that route.

I did one of the first Museum Delivers, Oct 27, 1997 One of the most memorable events in my life. It was very different then and very personal, I was the only on that day.

FWIW - our car was at 4200 on 11/29 and without museum delivery was in our hands on 12/2 in Florida.

And in hindsight how cool is that image behind you and your car......and that you are now in fact buying that concept today

Wow, that's both amazing and encouraging! Was FedEx involved in the delivery somehow? Thanks for this information, I trust you are enjoying the heck out of your new car!

Just got my TPW today from Mike Furman at Criswell
1/24/22 .
Its been a long wait to get to this point .
@Flex182 good for you man! It looks like we were tracking along together on the same timeline with Mike (both put our deposits on 11/2/20 per the tracking sheet), but I ended up in the group of November allocations that got bumped to 2/14/22 from an initial TPW of 1/3/22. Guess it won't hurt to wait another month since it has been this long already.

I’m sorry to hear you got bumped. But it’s worth the wait for sure.
I read after 1/24/22 there could be chip shortages according to other posts. Anyones guess at this point I suppose.
This is my order :
Hypersonic gray metallic
1lt , Z51 package, black interior , yellow calipers, mag ride, eng appearance package. Yellow seatbelts. Spectra gray trident wheels. Museum delivery.

I’m in the same boat with the push off. I am now hoping we don’t get punished with the chip shortage coming.
