Are you tracking VIN #’s? Release Dates?
Just final TPWs and actual build dates. I should have done delivery too, but it's to late to add now.

Yes, they got 0 for a Jan allocation, so did MM & Criswell. Hopping Feb a 200+. I'll have to check with STECEC8 to verify his number.

Does anyone know how ciocca gives out allocations. Is it by 2nd deposit date or by waiting list number. Or does GM choose by the total allocations.

On 2/10 GM will tell Ciocca what their Feb allocation will be. On 2/12 the allocations will be loaded in to the system and they have to be spoken for by 2/19. Ciocca goes in wait list order. But they call ahead by as many as 100, so just knowing who got called is only a little help. An example is me, my order was taken ahead of the Oct allocation, with Dave think he was getting 200, I was 116 away. They only got 67, thus I had to wait another month. By taking your order, second deposit means your close, but just looking at your number 2951 they will have to get 250+ to get to you. Sept, they had 297 so possible.

Great breakdown of the Allocation process. Are those dates the same for all Dealerships, meaning Consensus the first Thursday of each Month followed by the process you described? I am waiting on an Allocation from a Small Dealership that is expecting an Allocation for MY 2022 which they have yet to receive, so I was wondering if I have not heard anything by 2-10-22 should I suspect no Allocation for February.

Yes 100% the same for all GM. They might hear a day or two before Consensus, but that's all. All other GM cars have two allocation cycles a month, only the C8 has one. If I dealer doesn't use a allocation by the last day ofthe cycle they go back to GM. I believe the Zone reps can give those out as a favorer to a dealer who takes less favorable cars. Say they want to move some Equinox's. If the dealer takes 5 extra Equinox's, the zone rep might reward him with a C8 allocation. All this I've gotten from Dave Salvatore, Ciocca's Corvette GM. He's been great answering my questions.

Faste60, I took your advise and sent Ciocca a deposit.
That's three lists I'm on, now I just sit back and wait, and wait, and wait.

It is going to be a LOOONG wait. I have been on waitlists since last Summer and have made minimal headway and now with the Z06 coming online the wait time will increase by at least 30% in terms of production numbers and ultimately Allocation numbers.

Deposit placed at MM on 6/24/21. Current position #280. MM asked me to submit my build sheet a few weeks ago but have not heard back yet.

Both Shane snd my dealership Nessinger Chevrolet confirmed my TPW is still 2/14.
Order History:
Original deposit on 7/6/21 - 1100
Finalized order 11/4/21 - 2000
Dealership confirmed on 12/3/21 - 3000
Shane at NCM finalized Name Plate info on 1/15/22 and a TPW 2/14 - 3300
Dealer and Shane NCM confirmed on 2/1/22 TPW still 2/14 and 3400 will get VIN next week.
Estimated dealer delivery late Feb to 3/1/22

So it will be about a 7 month journey which isn't that bad.

So is the allocation cycle begin every 4 weeks or the 1st Thursday of the month? If the 1st Thursday then that would be the 3rd, not the 10th. If every 4 weeks then would some months have 2 cycles?

I've changed my opinion in the 8 months I've been so close. Last spring to early summer I thought the feeding frenzy would be over by now. I also thought the C8 was a old school Sports Car and the 50% new buyers would be tired of theirs by this summer and filling the used car lots with their C8s. But I've reset my thinking. The wait list are growing, and the more and more cars out for the public who doesn't pay a lot of attention will take notice. And now that I have mine i realize it's not the sports car of my era, but a Grand Touring Sports Car. So, my current opinion is there will always be a wait list for a C8, you will never walk into Ciocca's showroom and see 10 new unsold C8s waiting for buyers. The Z06 is for all practical poupous sold out. And being the last gas-powered Corvette, may never sell below MSRP unless it has 50,000 miles on it. I'm so glad I got on the boat when I did.

Faste60 had stated earlier that it is every four weeks. Chevrolet skipped a week in January.

Every 4 weeks for C8s, and every 2 weeks for all other GM cars.

I thought that I read that earlier but wanted to confirm because of his reply to post 1108 where he agreed with that post of the 1st Thursday of every month. In that post he also states that Corvette allocations are only once a month whereas other GM products are twice a month. With that in mind shouldn’t there be 2 cycles for those months with 5 Thursdays in them (every 4 weeks). So my question has been answered by both yourself and Fast60 but not completely.

No it has nothing to do with months or the number of Thursdays in a month.
ll GM cars every two weeks, and C8s every four weeks. and the runs for the year. So just count every four weeks from 2/10 & 12 and mark your calendar
It looks like GM wants to get the 2023 MY going so for the C8 2023 it will be three weeks from the last 2022 allocation cycle to the first 2023 cycle. Only GM know why.
My source is off on vacation this week so I can't get details on this shift with the first 2023 cycle. Since all GM cars are on the same cycle, I'm guessing the 2023 C8 will fall back in line at some point, If you count the 4-week cycle May will have two location cycles. So (just a guess) the 3/31 MY 2023 will be Aprils C8 Allocation week, they will skip 4/7 with the next on 5/5 & 7.

Thank you for clarification on the cycles. I appreciate all of your help and responses on this forum, especially those in regards to Ciocca.

I will update the daily, spread sheet here to make it easier to track. Check your data to make sure I've got it right.

I started his so I could get a picture of the timing on the process, as many of you know My C8 gets delivered Friday, and many has aske it I'm going to keep the spreadsheet going. Since I started this so many Buyers have given me feedback that they found it important to their knowledge too I feel responsible to keep it going at least to the end on the 2022 MY.

2/1/22 I hope I got everyone's changes, wow a lot today. Also a lot of questions about the C8 allocation process. Thanks to Dave Salvatore, I think I've a good handle on it and try tp pass on the info. My driveway is still 80% snow covered (400' & 5% grade) but baby's getting he black shoes no mater what.
Q- so im on Ciooca's list at #3074 so i know its getting close..... Can anyone tell me what would the cutoff date to receive the build call from Ciocca to know if I'm getting a 2022 or a 2023 ?
