I use the Soler on my Z06. I did a sweep of the pedal from closed to WOT while looking at the data on my scanner and there was a point - in any mode I chose where the commanded throttle percent dropped and then pick up again. At comfort level one, for example, the throttle percent went smoothy to about 65 percent, then dropped to about 55 percent and then went smoothly again to 100% on a continuous smooth pedal sweep. It did this from day one. I'm going to shoot an email to Mike at Soler Engineering about this. I'll see what he says.....
Interesting...I haven't felt nor noticed any discernible dips in response with the Soler installed on my Stingray in a few modes I've tested over the entire pedal range...That said, I have not done any diagnostic testing to review actual data results...
Wondering if this may be an anomaly with the Z06 or perhaps your specific controller unit or that the dip is so slight it's difficult to actually "feel"?
I'll share that today I installed mine and the directions are a bit misleading in that if just want to use app you do NOT have to connect the controller display whatsoever (step 7 should say to skip that step if not using the display). This wasn't clear to me so I had called Mike on his day off. Doh. He was very helpful. If you choose NOT to use the controller display, and have tucked away the controller already, you can pair by using use the last four numbers of the 12 digit number found on the box the controller came in. Hope this helps.
@DHDCF RE: Pairing - I haven't read the instructions yet , but are you talking about the number under the bar code on the white box? That's the only number I see. It sounds like you're saying if you choose not to use the controller display then you should pair before you tuck away the controller to avoid using that number?

Just simply record the last 4 digits located on the controller module before installing....Then enter that in the app to pair
Tadda summed it nicely. I left out where I had tucked everything away / bolted pedal
down before realizing the need for the 4 digits. But yes. Can use the last 4 of the 12 digit code found on both the back of controller and box it comes in.
Anyone try the security mode yet? It turns off the pedal output so no one can steal it even if they get it started. I guess maybe the could idle away😂😂.
Just don’t forget to turn that setting off once your back in the car. Could be an 😳moment!
I didn’t find it any harder to install than on my 2016 Camaro. In fact there’s a nice little “cubby” in the metal behind the pedal that makes a good place to stash the wiring and controller box. I ran the control cable up to the right side of the wheel underneath the start button. I attached the actual interface box to the dash using some VHB tape.
I actually find that the Sport settings are a bit too hot for my liking. I currently have mine set to Comfort 1, though I may increase from there. Like the Camaro, I’m mostly interested in eliminating the initial “dead zone” that exists at throttle tip-in. Doing that actually makes the car smoother to drive.
As a side note, I also installed the Soler 91mm throttle body that I had on my Camaro. This further helped improve throttle response and smoothness. I especially noticed it when getting going from a stop in stop and go traffic.
I use Sport 6. WOW, was the word and holy **** my neighbor used when driving mine! He also has a 2023 and is ordering one. Gave him discount code DLXVETTE for free shipping USPS.
Well, it's been about a week since I installed the Soler controller and I'm still very pleased and impressed. As with many others I'm finding Sport 4 to be the sweet spot.
As mentioned earlier, I installed mine with the control module and cables hidden under the carpet behind the accelerator pedal...The actual display unit is disconnected and stowed away in the center console as I find using the phone app very easy and convenient...You'd never know it was installed!
Hardest part is the gymnastics involved in removing the rubber tab to the left edge of the gas pedal. After you pop that out with a screwdriver the bolt is exposed. Used a ratchet to remove the bolt. Then press downward on the gas pedal and pull up to dislodge the gas pedal . Not hard. Second hardest part . Turn the pedal on its side. Look for the connector and slide red button to release the connector. Follow all other instructions . This install is not hard but working down by gas pedal is tight area and the gas pedal connector has very very little slack . The finished product is awesome!
Bring instructions to a local stereo car installer. I would have them do it if you can’t? Tell them folks install in 20-25 minutes. Can he/she do for $100?
They are upside down all the time so gas pedal will be a relief. Lol good luck

I tried it once just to try it. Did what it said it would. Might be useful if you're parking outside at a hotel, or going to leave the car in a parking lot for an extended interval in a sketchy part of town.
Being old I do not work under a dash any longer. What is the cost someone chargers to to connect the controller?
Only takes about 15 - 20 minutes after the 10 minute wait. The hard part might be finding a mechanic willing to take on such a small job. Do you have any mechanically inclined friends who could help you?
I've seen here and in the instructions about the 10 minute wait and other cautions about the electrical system. I'm going to be installing mine as part of some other work. Is there any reason not to just disconnect the battery until the mechanical installation is finished and not worry about generating a CEL?
