The car is a 2023 Z06. The latest software revision 49.45 does have the hydraulic flush procedure, but again, the question is will it work without any error messages. I will try again this coming weekend.
I tried again with GM software version 49.45 and got the same result. I took a screen shot of the error message and I'll send it off to Launch. I will keep you posted...
Again, this is on a Launch Tech X-431 Torque Link.

I know you use Launch Tech. On a different thread in general discussion. Yesterday I used Launch CRP919E version GM 49.45 and it also did NOT work.
I saw your post..... If I can't get this to work on the Launch, I'm going to buy the GM MDI 2.
You will need the 2GDS2 and tech2win diagnostic subscription on Techline Connect for the MDI 2 to do it. This is different than the $40 vin unlock for module programming. It's gets expensive really fast for the diagnostic subscription by the time you get a laptop that's capable to run Techline Connect.
I have a 23, I purchased the CRP919E Elite, I am going to change the oil along with the Trans filter this weekend. Car has 2400 miles on it, but pushing a year in service. Doesn't sound like I will be able to perform the flush at this time. Keeping an eye on this thread for anymore information.
There is a GM software update V49.50. Does anyone want to see if this version will perform the hydraulic system flush without error messages?
Still pending is the diagnostic feedback I sent detailing the nonfunctional earlier software version. This item is still open, so I don’t know……
I also downloaded new update for my unit. However, I already put my car away for the winter. If we get a few warm days here in MD I will attempt to perform HSF again.
I have the CRP919E Elite, Have not got around to testing it yet, I still wonder what it is actually doing that just driving the car is not doing, unless it somehow increases line pressure.
Hey yall, I have the CReader x431 Elite unit from Amazon as well. Unfortunately the GM 49.50 appears to have the ecu communication error (at least with a 2020) when it comes to doing the HSFP. Sent launchtech usa a email in regards to the issue and hopefully someone will respond.
If you haven't updated your GM or Chevrolet diagnostics pack to 49.50 and everything is still working I would say hold for now.
I'd like to know that too. Last I heard folks were hopeful that a software update would let the X431 perform the Hydraulic Flush Procedure because at that time it could not do it.
So i tried out some of the other special action for the TCM and they appear to run into the same error. The only one i didn't test was the TCM fast learn since it specifically advises not to touch it unless some internal work was done.
Launch USA just got back with me and buyer beware of the amazon creaders is that you'll have to go to overseas support for any issues. Then there was an ominous underlying that the functionality could possible never work due to some regional differences within the company.
Response back from Launch USA
Sent an email off to overseas service and lets see what they have to say
So I did some testing with some of the other functions for the TCM such as the diagnostic and the leak test and unfortunately they didn't appear to work either and come with either a communication error or invalid vehicle error. The only one I didn't try was the self learn since that's one you don't press unless really needed.
Buyer beware announcement for the CReaders bought off of Amazon. Launch USA told me they don't support units purchased off of Amazon as they most likely are overseas units. The launch rep also hinted that due to regional differences in code for the units that the obdii utility would most likely not be fully compatible for US vehicles. I was given an email for over seas service and will let y'all know of any progress updates.
I can't believe nobody has tried the flush yet.
I refuse to be the guinea pig, but that's just out of paranoia lol.
I've received updates for the tool, and done the AFM/NPP valve relearn multiple times without issue.
