I have both and difference was 69k msrp. I got bunch of things I didn't need such as ccb (had to because z07) and carbon wheels. those 2 is 20k.

z06 is still best choice, wider, resale, reliability etc. i am also able to get 8 yr warranty with z06 vs aftermarket

at stock power I already get tranny warm light on track in the fall. at elevated power, it will be much worse
