I have both and difference was 69k msrp. I got bunch of things I didn't need such as ccb (had to because z07) and carbon wheels. those 2 is 20k.

z06 is still best choice, wider, resale, reliability etc. i am also able to get 8 yr warranty with z06 vs aftermarket

at stock power I already get tranny warm light on track in the fall. at elevated power, it will be much worse

I just wonder if the clutches can handle the extra torque? The LT6 doesn’t make more torque than the LT2 and the Z06 has steeper gearing which takes the strain off the clutch as well, but they upgraded the clutch on it iirc.
