Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said Wednesday that Congress may be forced to take action to limit video game violence.
Last edited by Quick Silver Z; Apr 5, 2013 at 04:29 PM.

That dealing with video game violence will go A LOT further in saving lives than trying to rape our 2nd amendment rights. Kids who play those games very frequently become vert desensitized to violence in my opinion (and that can lead to tragedies like we saw in Newton, Cn, when coupled with mental illness.)
THere is not an easy solution to the violent gun culture in America, but looking at the exteme violence in the movies and video games, etc., and taking a much stronger stance on mental illness in the Country is a big step in right direction in my opinion. That being said 99.9% of law abiding citiziens who own guns legally is not the problem, and represent some of the most responsbile law abiding citizens in the county, who are the least likely to commit crimes with there guns. All the gun laws in the country don't stop crap, except enhance the criminals abilities to perpetuate their crimes, and take away our right to defend ourselves against those scumbags. Newton, CN, had some of the tuffest gun laws in the County and NONE of them prevented the major tragegy that occured on 12-14-13.
An armed society is polite and law abiding society, and we have to continue to fight hard for our 2nd amendment rights, as these flaming left gun grabbing liberals are never going to give up on this issue!

The average U.S. price of a gallon of gasoline has dropped six cents over the past two weeks, but despite the decline Chicago's fuel ranks as the priciest, according to a recent survey.
The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released Sunday says the price of a gallon of regular is $3.65. Midgrade costs an average of $3.82 a gallon, and premium is $3.96.
Diesel was down two pennies to $4.05 gallon.
Of the cities surveyed in the lower 48 states, Chicago has the highest rates at $4.05, roughly 40 cents higher per gallon than the nation's average. The lowest average gas price lies in Billings, Mont. at $3.33.

Story by 89 WLS Reporter Bill Cameron
(CHICAGO) In Washington this week, the Senate takes up gun control and Senator Dick Durbin is assessing what he thinks will and won't pass.
“It’s going to be tough,” Durbin said, but he thinks a few gun control ideas will pass the Senate, including a crackdown on straw buyers.
“Buying guns to give to criminals and thugs to use them in the commission of a crime, those people could face up to 15 yrs or more in federal prison if they did it,” Durbin said. “I think that measure’s gonna pass. I think it has bi-partisan support. School safety - not the NRA version, but another version is likely to pass. More reporting of mental instability to disqualify you from gun ownership - I think that’ll pass too.”
But he’s all but thrown in the towel on an assault weapons ban and perhaps on universal background checks too.
