The forum is a private place, they can say they hate Jews, N*****s, Gays explicitly on rotating banners at the top of the page and kick anyone they suspect might fit into those categories and there is nothing you can do.
Yeah, I guess not. I still think its horse ch*t though.
I used Safari for a short period of time despite even Mac users warning me against it. It is the most non functioning browser I have ever used. I liked the look of it, but doing even simple things like posting a quick reply would often freeze up, adding a bookmark and hitting one button puts the bookmark on the toolbar instead of in the menu (it should be quick and painless to add a book mark, like CTL+D, hit ok bam, but instead you have to choose where to put it or else it sticks it on the toolbar by default)...it was pretty terrible.
Unless he is using a version of Firefox with a Safari skin.
Ed has a terrific site, hope you guys can slap IB around a bit. It's shameful that they have such inept personnel.
Thanks, We have to give them some chance to fix these latest issues which are new issues. They adopted this forums technology so I am sure they are struggling with legacy code and trying to figure it all out.

Kind of like bowling, it's all in the approach Ed. Hope they're communicating with you guys as they certainly don't give us peons any input. You'd think there might be a little more consideration especially when guys like myself and many others pay our dues at various levels of membership supporting.

I hate to break it to you but... Internet Brands owns the vBulletin forum software this forum and most of the other forums on the internet use.
There is no reason this site shouldn't be super fast.
On July 4, 2007 Jelsoft posted a topic on their support forum stating that Jelsoft had been acquired by Internet Brands, which promised significant investment in software development.
Their IT guy's need to be beaten, if I had paying clients (the Supporting Vendors) on my sites and had so many errors, they would have beaten me to death already ...
I know that IB charges a ton, over $200 per month to advertise, that's a lot of money from a lot of people to have a site run so poorly.
They need a new DBA ... or a real DBA to look at their database to see how f'ed it really is.
