Any guidance from the IB staff would be appreciated. The prior layout was much more intuitive. Thanks.
What do you need help with? Aside from the breadcrumb change at the bottom, which has already been stated as being in a future update, what has changed so much to make it less intuitive?

Thanks for the response, JT. The quick reply with emojis is just a bit more cumbersome than it was, and the overly large text box for replies also seems 'off'.
The revised link and title box is a nice feature, however.
Does the "Last Post" column really need to be big enough to accommodate a 50-character username?
The appearance will vary between different resolution, screen, and devices, but this is how mine was after (top) and before (bottom). I admit there's a tiny gap between the two to avoid the snap function i didn't disable. Nothing very significant. Regarding the last post column, while registration now limits characters, there are some usernames that are close to 50.
The site was very user friendly with easy to use functions like the [yt] links.
do I have to brush up on my HTML code to do that now?
I'm with the general consensus , if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You don't need to use the YT button. That is an old legacy button.
To embed a YouTube video, all you need to do is copy the URL of the YouTube video and paste the URL in your post.
Guys sometimes you have to accept changes in life.. All who's complaining will get use to it.
Perhaps, but us old folks (ow stands for old woman, btw) are allowed to yell "Get off my lawn!" as much as we want until we befriend the new kids in the neighborhood.
I will say the smaller font when replying doesn't help our old squinty eyes. Just sayin'

LOL.. I'm OLD too.. I just can read the layout better with the new changes.. but i mainly come on here to read the general section of the board and to look at C5's for sale so i don't use much of the other items like posting pics or anything.. Sorry if i offended anyone
Where did the individual forum subsection links go?? I used these all the time to quickly navigate through different subsections of a forum section. For example, I'm in the C3 section looking at GENERAL topics and I wanted to move to the TECH section, I simply clicked the link that USED to be in the section of the screenshot I highlighted below. Now to navigate between sections I have to use the Forums drop down menu in the upper LH corner to switch. It's clumsy and cumbersome and definitely NOT an improvement.
Here is a screen capture that shows the picture is cut off as well as the text of the post. I can only see the left portion of these posts. There is not even a scroll bar to let me move to see the rest of the image/text.
Horrible changes! I hope you can make the site work again.
Another issue is that when I went to preview the post above, I then went to submit the post and it would not let me because it said I had to have at least 3 characters. It had removed the entire post from the reply box and only showed it in the preview section. I had to reconstruct the post without previewing it to get it to post.
I agree.
Where is the YouTube tool for posting YouTube video?
As mentioned yesterday, the YouTube tool is not needed and hasn't been needed for a long time. You simply need to copy the URL (address) of the YouTube video and paste it into your reply.
