You're really getting after it Rob, as I would expect nothing less. What are you running for an oiling system?

Incredible that it idles at 850, yet spins to 9000+! If you don't mind me asking what rpm does both hp and tq peak at?

peak torque is around 5500rpm
peak HP depending on RL is 8100rpm, 8500rpm or 8750rpm ?
We can idle @ 500 but it doesn't charge the car well enough.

I'm Dumb...what is RL or did you mean peak hp depending on the RL (rev limit) of the state RPMS above

My guess would be that RL means runner length. With the individual runner (IR) intake that Rob is using, peak hp rpm can be manipulated with the length of the intake trumpets.

It is doing well. I have not run much during the summer as temps are extremely hot (track temps 150+). I have changed nothing this year except I partnered with NRC to develop a true coil-over drag race shock for the C5/6. I don't think that my car will run any faster or quicker in good conditions but the new suspension does alllow me to run good in hot slippery conditions that was impossible with the previous set up.

How different are those shocks compared to the ones offered in the PFADT drag racing kit?

Might be worth the trip for this one even just as a spectator, Rob's car is the 'main event' in my opinion but also going to be some other cool stuff gunnin' for a number.

They might also help in cold slippery conditions (like we sometimes see up here at Atco in November/December) as well.

The PFADT drag shocks did not work on my car. That is why we developed our own custom application specific shocks.

The pfadt's are road racing coil over shocks designed by road racers converted to a drag shock with a simple spring change.

The shocks Danny's talking about are designed for drag racing by drag racers that can be dialed in for the street.

Anything can be made to work, it just depends on what level you are at, or want to be at.

I have seen the custom shocks by NRC/DBN and they are a great looking high quality assembly, no doubt about it.
