My good friend and fellow CF member Sonny Parks (SonnyinVA) needs our prayers. Sonny was involved in a motorcycle accident late last night. He's in ICU right now on life support with brain injuries.

I've known and raced with Sonny a lot over the years, this is a real blow. Scott is trying to get in touch with his fiance Lisa now.
I hope the news is better than has been reported here and in the paper, and that they can catch the SUV driver that hit him and left the scene.
He and Lisa are in my thoughts and prayers,

That article is not about Sonny.As of about 10AM this morning there was no change in his condition. I will be talking to Lisa later this evening.

^ Gary do you know what the prognosis is? I'm assuming he has fluid on the brain... is this something where they might expect impovement over a few days as the pressure is relieved and the swelling goes down?

And no matter what happened, please keep us updated on what is happening. And let Lisa know her and Sonny are in our prayers, and that I've let the Maxton Land Speed crowd know as well, and they're also praying for Sonny.
