James Glickenhaus, the man behind the absolutely stunning coachbuilt Ferrari P4/5, fulfilled a lifelong promise to his pregnant daughter and bought her the car of her dreams: a black-on-red Corvette Z06.

Some of the recent criticism of the new Corvette Z06 has really upset one owner.

This video of the first 2015 C7 Z06 Corvette to hit the Royal Purple Raceway drag strip has certainly got us in the Christmas spirit. In fact, the giving doesn’t stop at just the 11.7-second, 120.5-mph run, but it also keeps on giving with a saucy little burnout to boot.

When you’re spending close to $100,000, you would expect the fit and finish of a car to be damn near perfect. That, however, is the exact opposite experience one of our forum members had when he went into his nearby Chevy dealership to check out the new Z06.

After learning the 2015 Corvette Z06 earned Top Gear’s “Muscle Car of the Year,” we expected that some great footage of the guys testing the car was bound to pop up at some point.

We had a feeling there’d be some interesting comments the second we saw a post about a new Z06 stuck on the side of the road with only 274 miles on her.
