2018 Corvette May Get LT5 DOHC V8
It appears that for 2018 the Corvette is getting a new engine. The LT5 looks to be the company’s first DOHC V8 since the C4 ZR-1.

The LT nameplate has a long and storied performance history for Corvette and General Motors. Looks like a new chapter could well be added by the seventh generation of the ‘Vette. The LT1, of course, was a small block powerhouse for the Corvette from 1970 to 1972, and the name reappeared in the early 1990s
