Patience is a virtue....Anytime that you truely get impatient...just let me know, and can have paint on it in a couple hours...gouges underneathe the finish, and all. There's 5 other vettes here getting attention,bud....and.....besides my little secretary working on the computer stuff.......I'm back to doing this alone....It'll be done when we talked about, and will call you in the next couple days w/the quote from the upholstery shop......

You didn't stir up sh%t,bud, and sorry if it came across that way.....My worker here, and he didn't mean to....but...he was installing the door panels on the 63,and chipped the inner upper door.THAT...in it's self sucks buffalo azz,but it happens,so no big deal,but...BUT....he goes around to the other side of the car,and does the same thing to the drivers door.THAT is unacceptable!!!he knows I use low adhesion 3M blue tape on ALL areas around ANY and ALL painted surfaces, then you can use duct tape over the blue to make sure that yoiu are protected. It's 5 minutes of prep, and paint work, but you have to cover the whole car,and tape up the doors inside, and out. When removing the tape....some paint from the dyed door panels lifted,so now one of the door panels look like sh&t,so.....it's a 45 year old car,and the colors fade,so....you have to pull both door panels, strip them, prep them, pull the rear quarter trip pieces to prep, and the arm rest pads,then.....paint them w/interior dye,and put everything back together.
The car should have been gone even before all this, but the customer wanted to use the org. carpet for the car....while putting it together I thought it would like crap,so had him come out,so.....waiting on carpet, then install.
These are the setbacks of doing these cars, bud. While all this was going on.......I was working on your car, putting the front suspension on the road race car here for a customer from the forum, and working on the 2 other 69s here.
It's frustrating, and I had my guy take some time off work, and been doing it alone.
This is where my frustrations come from.I'm trying to get this car out of here to get my bank roll back up,then the carpet, and the wait to get it here, then the car is almost ready to go....and the repaint, and pulling most the interior again to repaint/dye them.
So....this wasn't directed at you.I have your vert, and another 69 vert here almost ready for primer, and they will get shot at the same time, and soon.
And....to be honest.....there's some days that I don't care if I ever see another vette.I am human, and get burnt out on this sometimes.I always snap back quick, but sometimes....I just wanna go for a drive....or.....have fun in the shop after shop clean up day on Friday afternoons.....

Come on down Rob....You are welcomed ANY time.I mean that!Sincerely.....
Sammy will be here. She isn't camera shy,and i LOVE that(pant..pant...pant!),but a good girl too.Not only is she cute as hell....she has spirit....
She has a new white bikini for the 63 pics when it is gone the beginning of the week.We are going to try to go some place w/some scenery, rather than this old dusty shop. She wasn't afraid to walk on the floor tho'....I like that in her!
I will ask about the lap.....top.....

If business doesn't pick up here on the parts side....we are going to be releasing..."How to rebuild your SBC/BBC" w/her in the buff, private shoots for guys,or something.Of course...I will have to clear this w/her first....Ha.......
