I played sax years ago and played 6 string for years - I called myself a bbq guitarist!. I play bass now and have been for 6 years or so. In a band out here with pretty regular gigs.

A few of the toys...

I must say, I really enjoy this post!
It's nice to see that music really is a part of many of the Vette family's lives. It really upsets me to see them want to remove it from schools. While it's not where I learned, it does open up a lot of minds. Drumming has helped me with concentration, memory, focus, planning, and that's just off the top of my head.
Lot's of nice instruments guys, love those exotic wood guitars and basses. Keep it coming!

Another to add to the wind section.

I've been playing the alto and tenor sax for ten years now. I guess the most "note worthy" item I've done playing is going to the State Jazz Competition during highschool and our school placing second.

Since then I play off and on for fun and for my wife.

Will soon be driving the '82.

Started playing guitar about 3-1/2 years ago. Wish I started when I was younger!

I don't have a C3, but hopefully someday I will.

I do however Have a Yamaha Jumbo that I still can't believe the sound that comes out of it. A custom tele you can play with Alan Jackson or Eddie Van Halen, acoustic elec Takamine, and a cheap *** Strat that does pretty good actually.

How I wish I had that Chet Atkins Gretch I saw earlier. My ex FIL could play the crap out of his, and all of his many other instruments. The best I have ever heard.

I have played for 24 years for my own enjoyment mostly. My true love is writing. Not published but never really tried to be.

Road Race....see your partial to blonds! Looks like ya got the spectrum of pickups covered.

Our ride is a 72 LT-1 (with AC). 3 yr old restore...and running strong with 15K on the clock now!

Yeah, Muddy,
I am partial to blondes.
I am a die hard blues player. I actualy play in two bands right now.

The Tele is what I use the most , and I have a couple of Les Pauls that are not pictured, that I use when I want more crunch. My strats just kind of sit there looking pretty most of the time

Hey, is that a San Dimas Jackson I see?????

Rare birds indeed. I have a similar configuration Jackson circa 1986.
That's when Jackson made some of the best guitars, period.

Thanks again guys. The jazz kit is an all maple kit made in Japan in the early 80's. I used the Roland TD20 for session work and online stuff. I sold the electric kit a while back and don't miss it that much. My PAJ is the Masters Limited Edition BRX in Millenium Silver. This kit is one of 100 made in 2000 and only 50 were shipped to the US.
