I could've been a musician had I kept up with it. Played & loved playing drums in middle, junior high, & high school. Got a band scholarship to a junior college and turned it down to go to a different school.
Now I mess with guitars. They're more of a novelty to me and I am always amazed by good players.
I'm pretty good with the one in the middle. LOL

Quote: OK, how do you get a drummer off your front porch? Pay for the pizza.
What do you call a guitar player with no girlfriend? Homeless.
What is the difference between a guitar player and a savings bond? A savings bond earns money and eventually matures.
I could go on.
End quote.
Please do...
OK, what does it mean when there is drool coming out both sides of your drummer's mouth? The stage is level.
How many Deadheads does it take to change a light bulb? 100,001, one to screw in the new one, and 100,000 to follow the old one around even though they know it's burned out.
Johnny is 8 years old, and wants to learn to play the tuba, so his parents get him an instrument and set him up with lessons on Friday afternoons. The first week, Johnny comes home and his Dad asked him what he learned, and he said "Today, I learned to play C". The next week his Dad asks him the same thing, and he said "Today, I learned to play A". The third week, Johnny didn't come home at the regular time. Hours go by, and his parents are in a panic. Finally, at 1 am, Johnny comes through the door all sweaty and his parents demand to know where he has been. Johnny replies "What's the big deal? I had a gig."

Jerry Garcia and Eric Clapton are wandering lost in the woods. Suddenly, natives jump out of the bushes, capture them and bring them to a makeshift trial in front of the chief. The chief finds them guilty of trespassing on sacred land, and sentences them both to death. But, he will grant them each one final wish. He points to Garcia, and asks what he wants, Jerry replies "I think I'd like to play one last long version of 'Truckin'. The chief points to Clapton and asks what he wants. Clapton thinks for a second, and says "kill me first".
Hard of hearing guitar player goes in to the Doctor for a check-up, takes the wife along. Doctor comes back in after the exam and says "I'm going to need a stool sample, urine sample, and a semen sample". The guitar player looks at his wife and says "what did he say?"
Wife replies "he needs your underwear!"

I have enjoyed watching the TV-show "OVERHAULING" with the magician: Chip Foose.
One day I got the inspiration to go in my studio and make this
tribute to the A-Team.
Toured and played for years, now more or less enjoy watching my friends play. A good bud of mine is with The Who which was always my favourite band - great guys they all are! Zach gave me his set of practice drums so that the local highschool Rock Club could have some drums to use. Just got back my '66 Hofner 500/1 after 4 yrs. in the shop. It was the original bass used on Faith No Man later Faith No More's albums - another good bud was its co-founder. I also have a 67 Hof clone that was played at the original Woodstock, my miniD I bought in '74 other than that I got rid of my old vintage guitars and synths over the years. The vette is a '72 ZR-1. I do agree with many of the other poster's this is a fun thread, beats the music forums where they argue over the minutest details over each synth and why X is better then Y. damn, most touring musicians I know don't know much about the programming of synths or even what string wts. they tend to use - as McCartney said many a time to sales ppl. I'll take the long ones when buying strings.
Played brass instruments from 6-12 grade, got to march in the Tournament of Roses Parade on Jan 1 1976
That's the closest my "talent" came to getting me on TV....
