Thanks Guys. I appreciate it.
Rog, Yeah, black top. I thought about putting a white one on but the customer wanted black. Ill have some more pics up soon.
Well, the Vert is now finished. I took it outside for a bit for some pics. Took some with the top up and some with it down. I went to open the hood and the hood pull handle popped off the cable! Crap. I pulled the wire out and drilled it for a roll pin. No more popping off. Delivery to client on saturday. Im headed to the ranch to do some huntin.
Very impressive, the car is very stunning. What a nice build. You guys did a fantasic job mixing old with new. I wish I was the client. Just a beautiful car.
Terry, Thanks, Its what I was aiming to do, mix old with new in a classy way. BTW, it was just me, Im the only employee. I guess thats why it took so darn long.
CC. This car's new home will be houston. Look for it there.
Love the wheel choice as well. Everything in your build just works together so well, one question ; how does the stereo sound with the roof down? I know many here will say who cares just listen to the exhaust note but with the degree of detail you put into it I was just wondering. I put Polk Momo 6.5's in the rear corners and they are somewhat muffled with the top down. When I redo the interior I'll rethink the rear tweater placement.
GDH, Believe it or not, it still sounds pretty good with the top down. The closed decklid gives some of the thump back into the sub and the front 6.5s sound pretty good too.
FW, do you still have the parcel shelf/storage bins that you cut out of that car. I know a guy restoring a '72 and his bins are junk and need replacing. He might want to buy it off you if you still have it.
