Tony as you know our family will continue to pray for you, your wife and other family. What a joy to be able to sorrow, but not as those who have no hope. The next few days will be difficult, but God's grace is sufficient. We all gather around you!
It's almost like he was holding on long enough to make that anniversary.

Please accept my condolences from my family to your family.
It is so nice for family to gather and reassure your loved one that they can let go and be at peace for there is eternal life beyond.

Gunner, i fouind this interesting, you probably know. Was at my local garage today for inspection.
Owned by two mid-sixtyish Russians, been in U.S. For 40yrs. Love America.
Guy tells me he was special forces Russian Army training to go to Vietnam to fight America, prayed he wouldn't have to go. Got lucky and everything wound up ending before it happened.
Knew they were supplying weapons and advisors but they were ready to send troops also.

No......I didn't know it....but after seeing how the war was "run by our Public Serpents"-----I don't doubt it.

R.R. Thanks/Don't be sorry for speaking the truth......It's good that that there are Americans who can "see through the smoke-screens".
We are tending to my Mother-in-law day and night.....she is really overwhelmed now. Things will have to "settle down" before I can concentrate on the project again.
Get rid of lawyer politicians, and then when you go to war you go to win, decisively leaving them in rubble.and take care of our Vetranas.
Why does congress have such great Healthcare and our Vets get the V,A.
Tony, I realize this is a lot on the plate, and going from one to the other so quickly. I have heard of many cases where when one spouse dies, the surviving one goes shortly after. A true case of the two shall become one and til death do us part. Just remember there is grace that is sufficient. Enjoy the moments while you have them. We will keep praying! The Vette will wait without complaint!
Very sad, hard for family, hope she can recover.
Good luck

Thanks everyone.................the doctors give her/Mother-in-law a 50/50 chance......they say the decision is up to her whether she can handle the grief or not......it's going to be a wait-and-see situation for the next couple weeks (We understand her pain.....My wife and I both actually wanted to die when our son was killed by an Illegal/Mexican who should have been previously imprisoned/deported because of a violent criminal history)

oldgto and members..........thanks for another round of thoughts and prayers.
Rather than just dropping out (of sight) I'm trying to visit the Forum between stressful situations. My mother-in-law is under 24 hour care and will need more tests to see if the grief has caused a stroke that has affected her entire body mentally and physically.
As for the Vette, I make sure to run my hand over the fender each time I'm leaving the house just to make sure it's still there and waiting for calmer days to arrive.

Great idea Tony on both the stopping in between the stressful moments and the running the hand over the Vette. You need the relief to take care of yourself so you can take care of MIL. As we say at fire station - "You gotta take care of the firefighter". If ya don't somebody has to take of you and you take at least 2 people out the fight. So be sure to keep checking in, hopefully you find a few chuckles and get encouraged. And keep checking in on the car. Gives you something to look forward too and is a reminder of less stressful times. And even though you may not lay a wrench or hammer on her, you may get to see some other ideas and think of more things you would like to do. That still counts as getting something done - even if it just formulating a plan of attack for when you do have the opportunity to get back to her. Rest easy man, we are praying for you. "All things work together for good". Look forward to hearing from you soon.
