I have been there myself, and it hurts.
She has lived a long and wonderful life. She is now in a better place.
Again, think of all the good times and funny stuff in her life

[QUOTE=doorgunner;1592650066]Thanks Rescue----We can really use the good thoughts and prayers_..........Did you guys ever have a stretch of time when you were trying to keep your head above water.............and then you get a phone call.......My Mother passed away in her sleep this morning.

Thank God there is a place called Heaven.[/QUOTE
You and your family continue to be in my prayers. It's been a hard week,my girlfriends daughter just graduated high school and 2 weeks later her father that never wanted anything to do with her died from cancer,I believe God also has a special place for people like that.fortunately I have known her since she was 5and have always been close to her.
Be grateful for the time we do have with loved ones..may God comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Tony,
You are in my prayers as well as your wife and rest of the family. I know this has been a long trial, and am glad you can find solace in knowing of her eternal destiny. I trust you and the family will find rest, and though it is difficult, it may save some additional stress in the future. Just remember you can keep the head above water because you are being carried through.- when you pass though the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you. Isaiah 43:2. Praying for you man!

Thanks Members for the thoughts and prayers.......I read all of the above but I was too numb emotionally to appreciate them..............So, I read all of them again-----and the messages started sinking in.........
So, I read them all for the 3rd time----Now, the rest of the week will be easier to handle (even if I need to read them 3 more times).
Thanks again and God bless every one of you.

It's the end of another Chapter........We had the Memorial Service and Burial for my Mom today. It was something that I had dreaded for the last ten years, but her pain and poor health are over now.
Also, One of the slain Baton Rouge Officers was also laid to rest at the same cemetery-----it was also an emotional experience seeing all the people and Police from several states along Airline Highway stopped on the roadside paying their respects as assassinated Officer Gerald's hearse passed by. He helped arrange part of my daughters wedding the night before he was murdered. Prayers to his family and friends tonight.

Thanks for checking in Brack c................We've been boxing up some things for the move to my mother-in-law's home. My wife was very kind-----the first thing that went across the Mississippi River was the Corvette.........
