That sucks about your parts, there's way too many dishonest people out there selling cars/parts

Thanks Calo! Without going into details....my mother-in-law still needs constant care.
I'm still looking forward to (at least) getting the car drivable after the rear chrome bumper conversion is completed (the front conversion will have to wait until after we sell our house next month).

She'd probably also enjoy an air conditioned garage.

I've been thinking about a lift for a while, but I'd rather use the $$$$ for the new Black paint.

Tony, I am having an air conditioner called a mini-split installed in my new garage. Not cheap, but it is small and compact. Lou.

It would be nice to get into a cool car in the summer......and a warm car in the winter (it would also be nice to work on a car in those conditions
)

MSGT-R................Thanks for the reminder......I'll put the savings in the Corvette fund.
It also looks like I will be in the garage this week.............
BUT..........I'll be boxing up Vette parts off the pegboard......any parts that won't be needed for immediate use or repainting will be boxed and labeled for my mother-in-law's two storage rooms for installment on the car after things "settle down".

No one that owns a vette can be called cheap. Poor maybe but not cheap. We discuss bubba here since this is a civilized thread.
