I fixed them so you wouldn't have to jump out of them.
Oh hell no!!! The one and only time I ever landed with an Air force aircraft we hit the runway and bounced back in the air 10 feet, scared the crap out of pretty much everyone of us - no thanks, give me a parachute Landing in civilian aircraft makes me nervous too
Tony, your sense of humor is intact as is your moroal compass. God bless and get to lowes for some knee pads, it will make the time talking to the man a bit more easy. Although Jesus in the oilve grove didn't have that luxury but I don't think he'd hold it agains ya LOL
How true!

LOL.........when we approached the runway at Long Bhin the C130 we were riding in pulled up rapidly..........seems the landing gear RETRACTED as we were about to hit the runway......then the crewmembers broke out the crank handles---similar to the crank handle you would manually start a Model A truck with..........after two more passes fire trucks began lining up along the side of the runway.....Go Airrrrrrrr Force !
Update: We WILL be able to drive to our home today....the water is low enough in the streets for an Escalade to drive through.
That's enough for one day..................................... ...........
If a Phrog had (rotary) wings...............

Thanks to all those who have stuck with my project through the last few months of getting absolutely NOTHING done on the car.......dodging Life's curveballs can really slow down a project!
As far as the flood down here....some humor..."Drunks with Guns".....

We finally made it back to our home after the floodwaters dropped enough to drive across the Muddy Creek (real name) Bridge. A "family" had already scoped out our property.....ate all the blueberries off the bushes and most of the figs off the tree.........................
I blinked and one of them disappeared...................
Ahaaaaaaaa..................I see their escape route now..................

LOL..............good point! So much for an 8' high fence slowing them down!
Boudin....".."..MMMMM.......now THAT's a spicy plate of food!
Now we can box up more of our personal things since the flood postponed the "move" more than a week!

Now that's an idea......hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
I could rent a trailer up there and H-h-h-h-aul the car back with the '34....but what kind of fun/challenge would that be ( you're dealing with a fool that had to throw wrenches out of his helicopter at the V.C/N.V.A. because his Guvment wouldn't supply him with enuff ammo or spare machine gun barrels )
Doorgunner here is my tank in my 70 baggage area glassed in all the way to tailights lot of storage.<br/>Wes (forward observer USMC)
Screw the rock salt 00 Buckshot. Thankfully oidiot continues his golf game delaying his stupid climate change rant.
True.......AMERICANS down here do not need a lecture about climate OR a lecture on MAKING SURE MINORITIES GET THEIR SHARE of FREE STUFF FROM THE GUV-MEANT......We have all helped each other---Black/Brown/Red /Yellow/ White........EVERYONE is an American----we float together or we sink TOGETHER......there's no need for Race-Baiting Politicians stirring up the thugs! Here ya go...........a 110% Redneck with a family who needed to get out of the water----there were eight Citizens total in the bateau........meanwhile----the thugs were doing what THEY do best---NAPPING DURING THE DAY AND LOOTING AT NIGHT.............

YES.........baggage area......looks roomy......I don't have a rear swaybar, so I will be able to mount my tank directly under the cargo floor extension!

Apparently each person is getting a "Yes" concerning their prayers.....the situation is settling down, and I'm still sane.
It's looking like I might do something to the car this coming week ( God willing....( as the Moslums say))
It's time to try and catch up with Priya's chrome bumper conversion.
