Looking good DG. I can’t wait to see it all painted.

MORE monsoons. The car was actually scheduled to have the body work finished so it could be painted this week.
Naturally.now that my car is 1st in the paint booth...it hasn't stopped raining for a week.
We might have 3 days of sunshine this week.
Ohhh well.
3 days in a row should do it......that would be 2 more than usual
AGAIN!
RATS! ONE day in a row...….it's raining again.

Just remember...….the front section of the body is still in my garage....I still have to attach the lower front valence to it and sand down all the fiberglass repairs before I reinstall it onto the chassis in order to get the door gaps/hood gaps/headlight door gaps nice and even (Whew!)
I wish I had some good news about the paint but 1 day a week of sunshine for the last month has become "normal". The car needs 2 days in a heated paint booth just to remove the moisture from the body work
I'm getting plenty of drive-time on the riding mower, though.
Well look at it from the bright side (no pun intended). At least your painter wants to get it right and is doing it the right way. He could have simply painted it and been done with it.
Waiting is is a hard thing to do. My cars are not at my main house. So in the winter I only get to work on them every other weekend. Leaves a lot of time to think things through.
Good luck the the sun will shine sooner or later. Stay strong. Ike
I'm beginning to think I should post a link to the weather channel. ONE sunny day a week in the last 6 weeks
It's a good thing he painted the doors before the new year and the deck lid in January when he had the chance.
This week the sun and rain will appear on alternate days
I'll get a call from the Painter for money to cover the body man's labor if he makes any progress this week...(pay-as-you-go-&-vice-versa)
