Priya's 79 chrome bumper conversion project
I got some cement adhesive from the landscape store where I purchased the block.
It comes in tubes like household caulking.
When it sets up the blocks will not move.
My mother in law has backed into one wall a couple of times with her car and her tires did not even budge the blocks.
I might have a spare tube floating around my garage or out in a shed.
If you are interested, I can try to find one and shoot you a picture.

I filled in that area. I must have had too much water in the mix because after it dried there was a hairline crack in the concrete patch between the window well and the wall. Shouldn't really matter until years down the road and the crack gets big enough for a mouse to get through and then I'll have to redo it:
I mixed that concrete patch in a pail and didn't notice until after I was cleaning up that I had abraded my skin away on my forearms against the side of the pail on the partially dried concrete patch. I was going to post a picture but decided no one needs to see that.
Then I brought the concrete patch out a foot from the wall or so, so if a mouse tries to dig down along the wall it will have to go back a foot away from where it wants to be and hopefully give up before then:
And now I'm ready to fill it in. A previous homeowner had placed plastic a few inches underneath the ground to keep water from seeping in to the basement. I cleared away some of the dirt on top of that so I could overlay plastic and cover the part of the ground where I destroyed the previous plastic sheet:
Some new plastic on top:
Shoveled the previously removed dirt back into place and I'm done:
I haven't checked around the rest of the basement for other places mice can get in, so I figure its maybe 50/50 this alone keeps the mice out. For this part of the house though I've made a much more significant barrier to the mice than the "open door" they had up until now. I'll find out how successful I've been come winter.
Now I can get back to working on the Corvette

I've been working on the car a little here and there, but not a whole lot getting done up to this point. The summer of 2020 I had an interaction with my anti-depressants and my mood has been down a great deal since then and my anxiety level way up. I've improved a bit over the past few months and started a new anti-depressant regime and I'm feeling hopeful about getting back into regular work on the car. The good news is I talked the spousal unit into letting me put the winter tires on the Corvette and keep it in the garage for the winter so I can continue to work on it

We're all glad to get your update I will keep you in my prayers.
Keep on working.!!
