Just received a call from the machine shop (RAD his shop is in Ludlow, MA) where I had the machine work done. I dropped the motor off yesterday after completing the rebuild, he just finished the dyno test and reported the little 327 had no leaks, 432 ft. lbs. torque and 383 HP. I will pick it up next week along with the dyno printout. I can give more detail information after that. But I am very happy my first engine build went so routine. I did convert to a full roller comp cam, pocket ported the heads and used roller rockers. Stay tuned.
Very nice work, Kudos for diving in to the tranny, engine and differential rebuilds!!
I've been quietly working on mine while following the forums and just joined recently. Tim
Welcome to the forum. There are some very knowledgeable people here who share with all. I have been guided in the right direction more than once. I wish you the best with your car and please don't hesitate to ask if you need any advice. This is the first time I jumped in this deep in a car but man is it satisfying. Just keep plugging along.
A blast from the past.......Nov. 26, 2016................................

Hi tp,
Have you settled the exhaust yet?
If not you may want to consider a set from Corvette Central.
They make a very nice aluminized exhaust system with the mufflers welded to the rear pipes. Makes for a very neat looking exhaust system without the extra clamps between the pipes and mufflers.
They offer 'off-road mufflers' which look like the originals but have one less baffle in them. This gives a little more 'sound' than the stock type muffler.
I think Corvette Bronze is a great color and very late 60ish! It really changes hue depending on the type of light it's in!
Regards,
Alan

X2 on the color and Corvette central exhaust. I used their deluxe 3 piece because I'd seen some comments about fitment and wanted some adjustability. Fit like a glove hanger rubber orientation was spot on and really nice quality. It's a 2" stock as car was built with and it sounds great. I've got a fresh rebuilt 350/350 every thing to stock specs restored original carb, intake, rebuilt heads, block, crank and rods. With new 11:1 pistons and GM cam. The exhaust scavenges like a big block when you get on it and let off the gas. Tim
