1976 two tone interior option?
Bob Beck
with Beck and have only seen a handful. I have seen white with red; white with blue and white with slate. Rare is probably good word to describe these two-tone interior options but know that rare does not always compute to desirable and therefore command the big bucks. Here's link to a discussion thread that has been around since 2004 on this topic.

Actually, if you can minimize the dropped M&M's on the white seats, the dark colored carpets should stay pretty clean looking. I really like the Firethorne with white seats/door panels. That two-tone interior group is pretty nice.
In 76 and 77, if you ordered a white interior, the door panels and seat covers were white, and the rest of the interior was color keyed to the exterior color of the car. With a White exterior, you had a choice of either a White and Black interior, White and Blue/Green or White and Dark Firethorn interior. For the rest of the 76 exterior colors, the breakdown was as follows.
Silver exterior - White and Smoke Gray interior.
Dark Green Exterior - White and Blue/Green interior.
Mahogany exterior - White and Dark Firethorn interior.
Light Buckskin - White and Dark Brown interior.
Dark Brown exterior - White and Dark Brown interior.
Corvette Red exterior - White and Dark Firethorn interior.
The 77 the white interior two-tone combinations were:
White exterior - White and Smoke/Gray interior.
Silver exterior - White and Smoke/Gray interior.
Black exterior - White and Smoke/Gray interior.
Dark Blue exterior - White and Dark Blue interior.
Medium Red exterior - White and Medium Red interior.
Buckskin exterior - White and Buckskin Tan Interior.
The 76 white and firethorn interior is pretty common, while the white and blue/green and white and dark brown are pretty rare. I don't know if the 77 white/buckskin combination was ever actually offered. I seem to remember reading that it was cancelled before production began?
Two-tone white interiors were nothing new for Corvettes. In 64 and 65, you could get white seats and door panels with either a black, red or bright blue, as well as white with a black dash and silver carpet. A white two-tone interior was also offered in 66, but only in a combination with bright blue.
