I am happy you got it and really hope you bring it out to some NCRS shows.
It has to be one of the most original 70 LT1's as there are not too many left with under 10k miles and their original tires!
I can't wait to see some pictures of it.

I posted a tech question and was redirected here by Dalton.
So, comment ça va mon ami Dalt ?
Good I hope.
Fortunately I have a friend in France helping me via telephone as he is has an exceptionnal mechanic background and know by heart every inches of its LT-1. He owns a genuine matching 1972 with A/C.
Nevertheless, the divorced choke are a real pita and they are for us, the LT-1 owners.... So a tutorial to set properly the divorced choke would have been a good idea.
Anyway...
By the way @Dirty Dalton What means SLM (See last mail ?)
Coming here made me discover this fabulous convert. I'm very enthousiastic about @bearcatfan9 's wonderful LT-1.
Honestly, Laguna is for me the very best color for LT-1 (with Saddle combo int). So @bearcatfan9 your car is 99% matching my dream !!!
Edit : I saw yours @Lima Tango 1 this, is my graal !

There's a couple od stupid guys owning some BB and thinking LT-1 is a crap car, just goo for the fireplace.

I’ll take some more pics but these were just some quick ones. I need to get another set for of rallys and a set of radials. PO said not to drive to fast on the original bias plys and I want to preserve them. Any suggestions on where to look for another set of rally’s?

What is the issue with the auto divorced choke?
There is a tab which rests against the white stepped cam - the tab can be slightly bent to get the full choke cold idle speed set at 2200rpm.
With the car off when you press the accelerator to set the choke -the choke flap should still have a slight gap - like the size of a pencil.
They are not too difficult to make operate correctly, IF everything is there and functioning.
