That hard top needs to go on the car, at least long enough to snap some pictures.
Best looking C3 is a convertible with a hard top.
I’d swap my 73 coupe body for a 73 convertible body in an instant, put the hard top on and never remove it.

I know right. Once the body gets painted I’ll post some pics with hard top just for your passion.

I have new seals for it that need to go on first. Don’t want to scratch the new paint once I spray it.
I want to put a white pearl vinyl stripe down the center of the car once painted. I want vinyl in case I grow tired of it. Can anyone share some pictures of ones with stripes you may have?
Nice Corvette! I'm enjoying watching your progress!
Thanks. Body work has been a huge learning experience. Planning on spraying base this week. Then I will de nib the base since this is all garage built. After de nibbing I will apply two more coats of base to get the clear on. 4 or 5 coats of base so I can wet sand and buff afterwards. Slowly but surely.
Are you going to squirt a coat of sealer on before base coat?
This was something we did back in the day, not sure if it’s still a thing.
Originally I was going to. Based on limitations of not doing this in a booth and never having painted a car before I spent more time prepping and cleaning the body. It’s what best works for me and worked well when I tested this process on the hard top.
