I hope you left the air dam black. The little chrome bits and different colors help the main body color "pop".
Its like red line tires, just that little bit offset the black and chrome

Have not gotten to it yet but I’m likely leaving it black for now.
Filling in the holes on the gas lid. Doing a little custom touch to it. I’ll keep the pictures coming as I get it done but won’t spill the beans until it’s done.
I hear you, Rogers. The summer is like your winter here. Too hot to ride, much less do any type of work in the garage. I am installing a 18k mini split in my garage after I get done painting. Then I can keep using the garage during the summer. Cruising is only good early morning or late nights in the summer.
After living in a single wide trailer with a horribly loud AC, then building a/my ( not knocking my neighbors at all ) Louisiana swamp house with a undersized mini split ( working perfectly ) I can't say enough good
things about mini splits = so quite
18K for just your garage sounds like a bad thing to me = going to cycle on & off a lot which means wear & tear. I went with a 2 ton unit for 1280 square foot house and so far (3 years) working nicely, also using a
large dehumidifier ( lots of wood in the house ) = time will tell.
You are motivated I see by your work, nice looking car

I only use it when I know I’m going to work in the garage. It’s been a blessing so far. I would not work on the car at all right now if not for this thing. 95 outside and 75 in my garage. Perfect for my son and I. He is starting to work on his 86 IROC a lot now. My total investment in this mini split is $775. So I can’t complain. And it’s blue tooth so I check temps and control it without even going on there.
Putting things back together. But honesty I’m not in any rush after I busted my jump all tear on this paint and body. Well worth it when it all starts coming together. Here’s the final gas lid reveal.
and the wet sanding and buff journey begins. This is a small part of the driver side door. 4 buffing sessions with compound and 3 finishing polish sessions.
