Well, mostly successful I would say. The body turned out good but the headlights and convertible top as I had them removed had crinkling on the the last clear coat. I’ll have to redo those parts but the body turned out as expected. What do you think?
Looks great, What paint gun are you using, how are you controlling the humidity in your air system? Want to do something like this, but live in Florida, so very high humidity much of the time. How big of a compressor? Sorry for all the questions, but very interested in how to do this. Thanks

thanks. I live in Orlando. R500 gun which uses low cfms. You need at least a 20 gallon tank to feed it right. A lot of options on filtration. I used disposable for my guns.
Been a while since I posted as I’ve been busy with other stuff. Still doing paint and body before I can start putting stuff back on. These pictures are dedicated to Old Car Bum. As promised…
Front air dam on. Thinking I should paint it to match though. Got the front clip, doors, vert hatch, and jambs done. Need to finalize the rear and then a lot of wet sanding and buffing or I may wet sand and re clear.
Getting ready to finish the base coat clear coat on the rest of the car. Deciding where to put my C8 logos. They light up blue underneath them. I will connect them to a toggle.
