Will get another meter from down here with it also what kind of readings do you to know my freind said maybe tomorrow i can borrow the obd1 scanner

Im supposed to get scanner this afternoon what live data will u guys need also someone told me if its a hard code i would have to delete first is this correct

Your COOLANT TEMP on the scanner.

Your MAP reading in VOLTS.

You can use the scanner with the engine OFF and NOT running BUT the ignition ON to set your TPS. When you get it set.,...then SLOWLY accelerate the throttle and WATCH the TPS sensor volts and see if it increases. Take it all the way to FULL THROTTLE and watch the reading.

KEEP IN MIND that IF your TPS is NOT able to be held in with the TWO screws...and it is at the angle that it is currently...I would STOP and get another one.

Took out egr was plugged i cleaned it but still getting code and started it to get all lose pieces our when egr was off

This is a problem!!!!!

The TPS should be as you know .54 volts +/- .075.

Your IAC is awful high also.

MAP should be around 1.40 volts if my memory serves me correctly

Have you verified your fuel pressure...because you NEED TO KNOW THIS!!!!!!

YES it is wrong....do you read what people write you????????????

I do not know the laws where you live dealing with emissions. For testing purposes at idle the EGR can possible be blocked off due to it does not work at idle anyway....but when driving it DOES come into play.

It looks likes the intake may needs to be pulled IF you plan on keeping the EGR.

I know tps is wrong question is do i replace or adjust to your setting and would timing make a difference because i had to advance to let it idle better and will try and get the gas pressure gauge asap

plug off the egr for now .get it running first then fine tune it.the tps is way off.If you are testing the tps correctly and your are getting those kind of numbers then the tps is bad.replace it.I would check your timing .put it back to factory .make sure that the harmonic balancer is good .

I set the tps with scanner with key one then locked it in at .52 and when running i was getting those numbers on live data i advanced the timing because would idle better if anyone wants to reach me direct my number os 808756-2269

The KEY may be ON...but you are not running the engine ...CORRECT???

You have to have the engine running to check the MAP....BECAUSE it is VACUUM CONTROLLED and if the engine is NOT running....then what would you expect???

I guess you are still waiting on the facotry manual????

Get your TPS to .52 volts with he key ON and engine NOT running.

In numbers i gave off nimbers are with the key to on poisiton and on is to engine running i set tos to .52 manual should arrive hopfully next week also i can pull pressure from fuel filter because no one has fitting i would need to make gauge line between the tbs
