I would like to see you get the correct bulbs and flasher relay.
GM only hired Engineers for simple things like bulbs and flashers.
sorry for being gone for so long, I finally had the transmission rebuilt. had to get a new job bla bla bla but im back and the only things i need now are to fix the speedometer and tachometer, order a new fan clutch, blades, fan shroud and figure out this damn blinker situation..
Just to say how tricky corrosion can be, and to redo the contact surfaces. I had a rear light that didn't work. All of the wires, socket, bulbs ETC looked good. I finally unhooked one of the connections that looked solid,,, I cleaned the surfaces, hooked it back up and it now works.
Did you ever get the correct bulbs and flasher relay post #19?
Post #15 above shows circuit #9 at your headlight switch.
So confirm you have power L and R at each of the brown wires with headlight switch on.
Here is a description on how the turn signal circuit operates.
Make special note at left column bottom when it talks about circuit #9 has many filaments.
All the circuits listed below are on the drawing post #15
there are 2 pieces of metal in the nose the headlight assy's mount to. i think the grounds also run to those 2 supports. problem is they mount to fiberglass inner fenders. so they need to have a ground run from them to the actual frame.

I have not got the correct bulb numbers, I'll add that to the list of things I need when I go down to the store again. I'll reply to the thread once I do so. I have about a $290 cart from CorvetteMods because i'm getting a actual fan clutch (i just learned the difference between a fan clutch and a flex fan) i'm also getting the fan shroud and seals and a speedometer cable. maybe sometime soon ill stop by the store. Again ill update this thread once i do so.

I'm sorry but im having trouble picturing where that would be.. Inside the headlight housing? where the back of the bulbs are is what im imagining and the inside fender as well.
There is a brown wire to L&R FRONT side marker lights
The rear L&R side marker lights DO NOT flash
The same brown wire also goes to both L&R front turn/park lights.
With headlights ON there should be power at each of the brown wires listed above.
I was testing the only wires i saw.. i was under the impression that i was testing the Turn signal switch harness wires, the big rainbow harness under the column. it seems i was mistaken but there was 2 brown wires on it.
The drawing says when the headlight switch is pulled park or headlight position the brown wire is feeding ALL
Do you see that on the drawing?
Please Look...
You were testing what is called the harmonica connector, turn signal switch connector...
The only brown wire I see on that connector is coming from the Traffic Hazard Flasher relay.
You said you were getting correct bulbs next time at store,
Remember the correct flasher relay too..
168 bulbs
224 flasher relay
Ask if they can order a Wagner or something USA made if possible..
