Dunno if BPE's position is same, or not.
Distinctly recall its warranty terms DID expressly & clearly admonishes purchaser that any LEGAL claims must be filed and heard in a Nebraska Court.
** AND it (BPE Warranty) still DOES
I just accessed it from BPE site.
I link that BPE Limited Warranty below. I had to dig to find where the Warranty text is actually buried. TWO pages; specifically on last page, near end.
You want to know about GM's warranty, just ask the thousands of Yukon, Sierra, Escalade owners who's vehicles are sitting at dealerships for months with blown up engines on $100,000 vehicles.
I've never used an attorney but my grandson is studying to be one.

I certainly have. Probably cost me a dozen or so bass boats too; although I never even got a nibble.
If you've never used an attorney, seems a legally enforceable warranty is of lowest priority as well.

Interesting that my 2002 Chevy Silverado with 5.3L engine still runs today without any issues except those caused by wood rats chewing the knock sensor wires and chewing through the brake booster hose (and that's a fun ride down hill with a 16' trailer behind you). It had about 90k miles on it when I sold it to my neighbors daughter after replacing a lot of brake items to make sure it was good to go.
I believe GMs warranty is parts only if you install it. Internet reviews, even the BBB are not all that reliable IMHO and very few positive ones are initiated. I read through some of the ones posted, one guy was bitching about an oil leak that was likely caused by his intake installation. That kind of thing is why BP and GM limits their warranties to what they consider qualified people. cant say I blame them. Below is my experience with Blue Print.....from and old post...
OP,
I'll also recommend a Blue Print engine, besides a good selection they also stand behind them really well.. Give them a call and tell them what you want and if you have clearance issues discuss it with them... My car came with 325hp Blue print, when it was 6 years old it broke a rocker and they were genuine GM parts. Since it was way out of any warranty and I was not the original purchaser-(2 people ago) - I figured I'd just fix it. But I did give them a call and they were great, a tech called me back and we talked nearly an hour, he said that should never happen and they sent me a new set of rockers, *****, nuts, pushrods, assembly lube and even gaskets...Two weeks later they called back to make sure I got everything fixed and asked if I needed anything else... I seriously doubt GM is going offer that kind of service, they don't even do it for 70K new cars.
I have contacted them a couple other times, once to request the build and dyno info, the other was a question about balancing, both times were quick and easy.. I'm not saying BP engines are better or worse than GMs, that's debatable, but GMs customer relations reputation is not that great in general and thats from people I know-including a couple of ASE mechanics..

So are they just waiting on parts?

There are lots of rusty Silverados with perfectly good engines. Some junkyards will even warranty them, or you can accept the risk and harvest them yourself.
I believe the LS engine issue is only the new direct injected ones, maybe LT designation?
Cranks were not cut or smoothed properly or similar.
Some engines failed before they left the dealers lot.

I wouldn't own one, not til they figure it out.
Yes, it seems the primary offender is the rpo L87 6.2L V8; ostensibly MY2021-2024
That's technically not an LS, it's a newer Gen V labeled LT
No, I don't yet KNOW what is/are root cause(s) of failure(s).
No doubt exhaustive Design FMEA, Production FMEA, FEA studies etcetera will help understand this and prevent similar field failures.
Cool data sheet!
Same dyno HP as an 11:1 CR 350-350 L46.
But with a 13* smaller cam duration, and 2.0 points less compression.
That is how much HP those current vortec heads are worth!
They make up the deficit.
