Default 86 vacuum lines

question on 86 C4 vacuum lines? the vacuum hose that feeds to the cruise control from the vacuum canister on the LH side has a T fitting about 2/3 of the way up and the hose that goes off runs behind the distributor as best I can tell from photos I have seen. I need to know where that hose ends up, as on the RH side I have the two ports from the plenum hooked up as follows:
the rear port to the fuel regulator on the fuel rail
the front port to the AIR reactor
I have had to do this car from scratch as there was nothing original hooked up when I bought it and I can't see any other place that needs vacuum unless the line from the LH side T's off to something already hooked up.
thanks in advance for any help or advice

This is the check valve you will need.

The round plastic ball if front of the drivers wheel house is the storage tank for your vacuum...and the 'T' you know about is how this all comes together.

Coming off the intake on the passenger side is a plastic tube with a large rubber end on it to attach to the check valve with ONLY one port on the one side of the valve. Then ...the two other ports are for your HVAC vacuum...and the other is the hose that goes to the 'T" and goes to the cruise and storage ball.

was able to get back to work on the vette and found both hard plastic vacuum lines wrapped in the wire harness. both were broken off in the past and were re taped and therefore not able to be found without the help here on the forum. anyway, does the line from the check valve going to the plenum, T off and also go to the fuel regulator and if so is there a proper sequence? the second hard line pulled out on both ends (broken in the middle) and appears to go to the blower motor without any vacuum lines? thanks again for all the help.

The vacuum line that supplies vacuum to the check valve comes from the rear vacuum port on the plenum. The front vacuum port supplies vacuum to the A.I.R. valves and the fuel pressure regulator.

The vacuum line that goes off from the straight part of the vacuum check valve goes into the wiring harness and into the cabin. It connects to either the HVAC control head (C60 HVAC systems) or the HVAC programmer (C68 HVAC systems). Your HVAC doors in the ducts will not work if that vacuum doesn't get to where its supposed to go.

Disappears into the an electricial harness behind the distributer and provides vacuum to valve for hot water to heater.

Default I need some help. I have a 86 z51

I have a 86 vette. I have no ac or heat, no emissions, deleted the air pump and ac pump along with the brackets, no cruise control. So can I just eliminate the vacuum canister and charcoal (emissions) canister? If I do will there be any other issues that might pop up? I am having a vacuum issue like my cam isn’t creating enough vacuum. The last time I put a gauge to check vacuum I only had 7 in lbs. Thanks in advance

Interesting question certainly worthy of a new thread.
